If it's EDO RAM in the machine then it has to be in pairs. Maybe there is only one chip in and it's detecting it.

There's my way and then there's the wrong way.

i know EDO has to be in pairs

one thing that confuses me though heh, i was putting 4 sticks in, and it was saying

ram at rows x,x,x
^
only 3 rows?... it booted alright but it only recognised 3 sticks, listed the total ram as the sum of thsoe 3 too

but anyway, now i got 4 sticks in and they all work, but.....

it says
EDO at row(s) x,x
FP at rows(s) x,x

what is FP??? i thought all 72pin ram was EDO

Fast Page. It was the predecessor to EDO.
