My tv sound is poor, i like my computer speakers, is there any way that I can hook up my tv so that the sound comes through my computer speakers? they are Creative Inspire 5300 5.1 and my graphics card has tv-out and video-in, i don't want the tv on my monitor, just the sound, any ideas?

You are one confused man... let me try and straighten you out here.

First of all, that TV out port on your graphics card is to have your computer use a TV as a monitor, not vice-versa.

Second, I'm trying to figure out why you think your graphics card has something to do with sound anyway...

Third, does your speakers have a second input? (NOT THE SOUND CARD) Most high-quality computer speakers these days have 2 inputs in the back of the subwoofer.

Creative doesn't make good speakers. . .

Anyway, wouldn't you just need to use the line-in on your sound card?

If you use the line-in on your sound card, your computer will need to be on. I thought hooking it up to the speakers themselves would be a better idea. Also the sound would be double amplified, and that can produce bad sound quality.
