If you have Windows 9x just type msconfig in the run prompt and go to the Startup tab. Look for Scheduling Agent or whatever it has to with schedule and uncheck it. Also, you might want to get rid of something called wcrtupd I believe and this all in the msconfig thingy. LOL hope that helps.
