I've recently added a XP machine to my network. All the machines can access each other but the new machine can't access any other machine or be accessed. All machines have NTFS. Whether an incoming or outgoing connection, I always get this message: Login Failure: user account restriction. Possible reasons are blank passwords not allowed, logon hour resrictions, or a policy restriction has been enforced. I haven't found anything that could be causing this. Suggestions? Thanks.
If I disable limit local account access to console login only on all machines, I can access them. The problem is they don't ask for a username and password when I access the C$ share.
