I don't see how you're comparing them... ATA is like transfer rate, cache buffer is just... cache buffer.

ATA 133 offers little performance increase from 100, whereas an 8 MB buffer will definitely have a positive effect.

Well it's not like you can't have ATA 133 and an 8MB cache buffer.

i know, but in my price range, and the amount of space i need, its not a possibility
