On games like JO and now Black n White the text shows up all garbled. The games run fine but the text is messed up. I have a Voodoo 3000 and I know its crap but I dont feel like spending money. Would this be the problem or should I become more apt to shoot for better than basement bargain copies?

Yes, your card is shot. You're going to have to get a new one.

I'm not an actor. I just play one on TV.

I don't think it is shot... I had that problem when I had *ducks head* WinME on my harddrive and it would happen in ST Elite Force, but when i bought a new HDD and installed Win2kPro on it and ran ST Elite Force everything was fine. But I have a RADEON 8500. Try running a thorough scanddisk, then defrag... You may have some corrubted files.

There are no new drivers made by 3dfx, but there are a lot of updated drivers made by other users for the voodoo cards. You might look into those.

BTW - shouldn't this be in the tech forum?

Well, that was a bit harsh, sorry. http://forums.massassi.net/html/tongue.gif I had the exact same problem, but there isn't a fix for it (as far as I know.) I bought a new card instead.
