Home movies to DVD.. (Cheapest way to do it..we have over a dozen tapes. Professionaly done costs 25 per tape)
The question is...
How do I get all these old VHS tapes onto my computer to burn on a dvd disc?
Thanks.

You need a video capture card. Pinnacle (http://www.pinnaclesys.com/) makes good ones.

some video cards have TV-in... but you would have had to specify that when ordering the PC.
and after the TV-tuner step you'd have to encode it to be DVD ready (not sure if the dvd burning software does that for you or not) and codecs are fun *rolls eyes*
so, enjoy! =)
