Digicam woes

I installed the software for my Digicam which is a ViviCam 10, and I got everything hooked up, the USB cord was perfectly fine but it keeps coming up that it can't detect the camera? It can detect when the USB cable is plugged into the camera and when it's taken out, but it can't detect the camera itself.

Would you mind posting the solution here, just so we know if any of us ever have that problem?

Yeah. I'm on XP so it should be different on others. When I tried installing it I just used the install off the CD, but I had to use the XP install wizard to install the rest of it and then it worked fine. The install wizard didn't pop up when I first put the CD in so that's why I had to use the regular install.

Also note that I didn't have the instructions (someone's borrowing them) so I don't know if it says what to do for XP users in there or not.
