What's the best nondestructive way to repartition parts of my hard drive in linux?

not entirely sure since my linux partitions always broke beyond repair from within the OS...
try getting on irc.openprojects.net and ask in #linux or the channel for your distro.

Meh, thanks for the help anyway. I'm wanting to make a FAT32 /c so that I can use WINE. I'll try there. Thanks agian.

so you are trying to dual boot?
if you are....
always install windows first and if you're linux distro detects FAT/NTFS partitions during setup it should ask where you want it mounted.
and if not you can install windows then linux and mount the fat partition manually

No, I'm not trying to dual boot, I'm just wanting to get WINE running on my slackware machine, and I forgot to set up a FAT32 /c for it to play with. Speaking of which, does anyone have any advice for me concerning WINE?
