View Full Version : Resizing the screen

Right, I have some episodes of a subbed anime on my computer. It's great to have them, but the subtitles can be hard to read due to the tiny screen size.

I could always set it to full screen mode, but when I do the footage gets extremely grainy. Hardly an improvement.

Is there any way to resize the display screen of movies without sacrificing quality? Or should I start pre-ordering eyewear replacements?

Oh, and the movies are .avi files, if that's relevant.

So if people are weird, and we are to act like one another, then is society a breach of normality?

You can always decrease the quality, but increasing the quality is pretty impossible.

If you set your screen resolution down, it will make it look better. Not great, but better. It removes the blurriness for graininess. If you have an LCD, though, your stuck.

Ah well. At the very least, setting my background to the odd gray-black color it can be makes it easier to read.

I'll try setting the resolution down, though. Thanks for the idea.
