Internet Explorer Extremely Slow

This is a weird problem I've never encountered before...

Basically my browser slows to a halt for no reason what so ever...it has trouble running these forums. Any fix for this? There's no new programs that's been installed on my computer, none running in the background, just...slow.

Well that's not really the answer I was looking for...

To explain it further, typing in this text box, there's like a second delay before the text is shown that I've just typed.

When I move over links with a mouseover (like the ones in the forum), it's another second or so before they change.

I dunno, this weird. My system resources are fine, and nothing else has any trouble running. Just IE itself. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling it, but that didn't help. Anyone know of any possible solution for this?

Aha! Got it fixed.

A program called "CWShredder" cleaned it right up for me.

Link? I've noticed that problem on my dad's two computers, and since he refuses to use another Browser, but is constantly complaining because it's so slow...
