Simple enough surely? I was playing around with my ping command and I slowly worked some more stuff out. I'm looking for a nice big list of commands to just run riot with and write some silly programs for myself! http://forums.massassi.net/html/biggrin.gif

As a semi-thread-hijacking attempt, when I do that it always scrolls, and then I can't go up. My dad showed me how to display only a few once, but I forget.. http://forums.massassi.net/html/frown.gif Massassians, I choose YOU!

Okay I need to know about the net send command.
This works over our school network, but I want to do it over the net. I know it works, because you get those annoying 'Messenger Service' popups in Windows XP from random IPs offering you webcam... naughtiness and such like. On a side note I wrote a quick batch file that disables the Messenger Service - well received by my non techie friends!
So yeah, back to the point, how do you get the net send to work over the internet? I won't use it badly, you know that...

You might need to include hostmask or something. Like maybe I'm 24.50.193.36@clvdoh.adelphia.net?

Most all commands that cause scrolling support this switch: /p
However, help does not, since its a PAIN. Anyway, you can always hit the PAUSE button on your keyboard and it'll freeze the screen. You just have to do it fast.

"help > filename.txt" will copy the output of help into a text file.

Add | more onto the end of any command.
Example:
C:\> dir | more
file.blah
file2.blah
file3.blah
.
