View Full Version : Arg.. shadows in MS Word... *dies*

Ok, a while ago I completely eliminated all of the "My First GUI" "features" in Windows XP Pro. And all was good..

Then, a few days ago, I did something (I forget what, I think I tweaked something using Xteq System Set up) and got an error. I restored to a previous time.. thing.. and everything works fine. Except those *** ****** annoying shadows are back in word. Whenever I move my mouse over a button, or use a drop down bar, it gets shaded blue. The drop downs are in "3d" now, and have shadows.

This is useless, and a recourse hog. I want it dead. Anyone help?

It's in the options for word. I don't have Office XP on this system, or else I would give more detailed instructions. It'll have choices in a drop down box that allows fold out, fade, slide, random, and none. Probably in general or view tab or something.
