Ok. I want people to be able to download stuff from my website. AND, I want it to be excactly like Massassi's download thingy. Please help! BTW... Thanks to your guys's help, my website is ALMOST complete. All I have to do is the Programs, and Levels/Mods section. THANKS AGAIN!

Yea, that requires you to learn databasing, like MySQL. www.mysql.com (http://www.mysql.com) if you really want to do it.

Also, your webhost has to support it. If its a free webhost, chances are they do NOT support it.

I'm not getting a free webhost for my website, I'm most likely gonna buy a FULL website package.

So, I thought there was HTML code for the download thingy?

<A HREF="mystuff.zip">Download</A>

Wouldn't that be the same? If it isn't could you tell me excactly what I need from that website above?

Well, you could do it by writing each download page in HTML seperately, I just assumed you didn't want to do that, since you said exactly.

No offence intended, but you dont seem to know anything about what you're trying to do... Exactly how experienced are you with making websites? If the answer is not very, i'd stay clear of php and mysql for a while.

I'd start small and not use any PHP or mySQL yet ... maybe manually upload your files and change/update your download page by hand as opposed to running a script like we have here ... OR, you could just

a) Ask Bri for his script, or
b) Use my clone of his script originally written for TJS, which doesn't use mySQL, although you'd have to alter a lot of it yourself since I splashed "TJS" everywhere and I like my life too much to go and make a public release version http://forums.massassi.net/html/tongue.gif
