I've always hated playing console games on a TV, where the pixels are always blurry and such, so why can't I find a simple adapter that goes from yellow composite to CRT so I can plug into a monitor? Is there a simple technical reason?

They exist. The dreamcast had its own special adapter for it for example, that even ran it at a higher resolution.

However, many general ones cost a lot, and would be cheaper to buy a TV Tuner card. It allows you to watch TV, and play console games on your computer. Not only that, but you can chat and play Super Smash Brothers Melee at the same time, like I do. http://forums.massassi.net/html/biggrin.gif

Are you sure it's THAT much cheaper? I'd need a whole computer just to run the thing, while if I had a spare 19inch monitor lying around (as I do) I could just hook it up with this. That's a pretty cheap one. Get it if it has the imputs you need. My TV tuner card cost $49 for comparison. But yea, go ahead and buy that converter, its pretty cheap.
