I have a proxy server running Windows 2003 which is using the remote access role (very badly named, because I'm not allowing remote access). And I have that role set up for network address translation. Clients on my network use it as their default gateway (I call it a proxy, but there's no proxy software).
So everything's set up correctly and it works fine, but I want to be able to restrict access to the NAT server. In the user manager, I have options for granting remote access priviledges, but nothing for using NAT. And the Remote Access policies don't seem to do anything either.
So can I configure NAT to allow only members of a certain group to use the server? Or at least prevent users from accessing the server?
This is important because only my servers are on the cabled network - all of the clients are wireless. And anybody with a wireless card can join my network.
