I've tried booting in safe mode, shutting down all programs. Etc.
This file just won't delete.
Its a half-downloaded install for Sven co-op (The half-life mod)
I got it off bit torrent and made a backup on my desktop incase something went wrong after the halfway point.
The file is okay, it just needs to be finished or deleted. But windows won't let me delete.
BitTornado would let me finish it, but the tracker is dead because the guy hosting it is having major problems with his server.
Now I dunna' what to do. :\

I don't know if this will work, but it worked for me once before:
Start notepad and save a file with the same filename and path as the file you want to delete. When it asks you if you want to overwrite it, click yes. Then you can delete the file.

When you try to delete it, it gives you an error, something like, 'cannot delete s2' or something. 's2' is probably not the same filename as the file, but it's the handle.

Go get that program. Ok, now go (menu) Find->Find Handle, and search for s2. When it finds it, select it on the bottom and end the handle. You can then delete the file.

Once again, I'm going to plug Sysinternals Handle 2.20 (http://www.sysinternals.com/ntw2k/freeware/handle.shtml).
Hmm..this topic is wiki worthy, anybody up for it?

If you scan your hard drive on startup for errors, that should also do the trick.
