I keep getting poopups on my computer, and lately they've been getting really bad. However, when I try to use the google toolbar or popupstopper, they don't block any popups. I'm scanning my computer right now for viruses/spyware, but I don't think that they would affect popups being blocked. Any suggestions? Please?

What do you mean with popups
Ads? In a browser window?
Windows messenger service?

I get little browser windows popping up all the time. Another thing that bugs me is occasionally when I click on a link it'll take me to a www.ads234.com (http://www.ads234.com) page that shows an ad while my link loads, then it re-directs me. That bugs me too.

Post a list of your running processes.

I'm no expert on processes (if there is such a thing), and I dont know what you have running in the background, but some of those processess look suspicious.

Looks like you got spyware/viruses coming out the wazoo. Your system needs a serious wipe-down.

Copy/paste each of the process names into google, you'll get information about what it is.

Download Spybot. Run it and do what you can. After that, download HijackThis and post the log here.

I know that the
D.EXE is a Trojan
SVHost is part of some virus(note scvhost is apart of window)
I don't know the rest of them, but all that crap must be slowing down your system big time

What's HijackThis?
------------------

It snoops around looking for browser hijack attempts (changes in the home page, security settings, etc.).
www.lavasoftusa.com (http://www.lavasoftusa.com) provides AdAware, which, combined with Spybot Search and Destroy, can provide the best protection from adware on your computer.

Ad-Aware also has a handy plug-in that blocks windows messanger from starting. So get that too...

AdAware, Spybot, and then Housecall.
I recognize adware and malware in that list.

Please listen to Microsoft (http://www.microsoft.com/technet/community/columns/secmgmt/sm0504.mspx) and reformat. While you do that you can think about how those viruses and trojans got onto your system and how you can stop that from happening again.
