When you use GetSectorThing will it return the correct sector if a thing has moved into THAT sector from another sector originally?

You mean GetThingSector(), right?
It just returns whatever sector JK has assigned to a thing - it doesn't control it exactly.
When a thing exits a sector, it's sector property won't be changed until the thing enters a new sector. It doesn't seem to matter where the thing comes from.

In most normal situations, the sector returned by this verb will be the same as the sector the thing is physically in. The only time it will be otherwise is if you're doing something wierd with said thing.
