need simple help [Archive] - The Massassi Temple: Forums

This should be easy for sombody that knows what they're doing, but i need an edited version of weap_saber.cog that does everything that a saber does but doesn't make sparks when it hits a wall and instead would play metalhit.wav (i can put a wav in thats called that) and i could change "swing" sounds and "hit" sounds (i figured that much out. but couldsomeone make me something like that? ask me if you're un-sure on something.

Dude, the swing noises are defined in the symbols section, just change the wav name.

And as for the saberhit thing, you'd probably be best off using jksetsaberinfo and a new template.

The nice thing about that is that you just have to synch the jksetsaberinfo, not the creation of the actual template, which is nice.
