Sith Hell (PLEASE dont go and screw up this story... If people write seriously im gonna make a level based on it. The general idea is kind of a cross between the darkside and hell, the ultimate evil. I Will ask one more time, PLEASE dont go and screw this up, if i like how it turns out, it will become the plot for the level. One more thing, if this story does start going good, and someone comes along and decides to f@#k it up, ignore thier post as if they never posted. One last thing, ONLY i can conclude this story. Now without further adu...[Err, i think thats the right word...})

Sith hell.

There is a sith temple that exists, that is so dark, the light side cannot exist there. Until now, this has been unknown.. But until now, it was of no concern, to the SW galaxy we know, but so much sith power has built up that it has literally torn a hole in the dimention.....

Somewere on Corsacuant....
All the jedi are practicly knocked out with a sense of the biggest disturbance in the force... A meeting is called of the newly re-forming jedi council.

Luke: "Something has gone terribly wrong...."
Mara: "We all sensed it..."
Kyle: "What are we going to do?"
(There are others there too but im focusing on these three, as the whole story will.)
Luke: "We have to do something.... We know were it is, we have to stop this... before..."
There is no need for luke to finish his sentince, everyone knows what must happen...."

They take a ship and head into the dimention hole...
On the other side...
Kyle: "I no longer have control of the ship...."

The ship is guided to a red planet and lands near a swampy forest.

Mara: "I dont like the looks of this..."
(In the level this part will be very similar to the MOTS sith emple swamp.)

Ok people, your turn. And rember, im not taking any **** on this story....

Hey thanks. my idea is for the massassiites to make most of the levels plot. Thats if anyone ever adds anything to it....

ANd i will eventually come up with a better name than Sith hell, but when i was writing that post, it was all i could think of at the time...

In my philosphy Hell is not so much fire and brimstone and all that stuff, but rather is total seperation from God that results in people being consumed by something with in themselves (example: natural desire to eat food becomes gluttony, natural sexual disire becomes lust, ect, becuase they become all importatnt to us.) SO, you could have freak changes start to break out among the characters at different times, when some disire of theirs becomes lethal important to them (to the point when they are willing to kill to get that disire).

Kyle, Mara, and Luke emerge from the ship.

Mara: Ughhh! It stinks worse the sewers of Nal Hutta here.

Dead Corpses of animals liter the ground.

Kyle: Well the ship won't start at all. We'll have to find another way out of here. If we can. . .

Luke looks about. Suddenly he sees what looks like a putrid decaying human corpse with Leia's face.

Luke (half in shock): Kyle, look!

Kyle looks over there and sees nothing.

Kyle: I don't see anything.

Luke turns to look at Kyle then he looks back and there is nothing there.

Luke: I thought I saw Leia dead.

Mara (shivers): This place reminds me of. . .

Kyle (with a stony face): . . . Dromund Kass.

Mara nods.

Kyle: We can't trust anything here. We don't know what's real and what's not. . .

Kyle: Maybe me and Mara should lead, we have had more experience in swampy areas

Luke: ok, ill tag along behing

**They walk very slowly though the muck, making sure not to step into a possible trap**

Mara: I really have a very bad feeling about this place

Kyle: Yeah me too

**They continue to walk slowly**
**They hear a Grawl, as if from a Wampa-type creature**
**Mara and Kyle Stand there, they look behind them to find luke missing**

Kyle: Where Luke?!

Mara: oh no...

Kyle and Mara: LUKE!, luke!, LUKE!, LUKE!

**suddenly a wampa-type creature jumps out at them startling them both**
**Kyle and Mara stand there... lightsabers drawn and ready**
**The creature backs away**

Kyle: what in the name of the Force was that?

Mara: I dont know.

**Kyle and Mara walk farther through the muck to find more woods and even deeper swamp water**
**Kyle Checks out his lightsaber to find it not working anymore**

Kyle: Hey, my lightsaber isnt working anymore.

Mara: mine either

Kyle: I really sence alot of... evil in here

Mara: oh my god! look!

Kyle: what what? I dont see anything

Mara: its gone

Kyle: what was it

Mara: it looked like... a Sith lord

Kyle: but isnt Vader dead

Mara: it was something... other than vader

Kyle: well lets quit talking and try to find luke, its getting cold now

*Mara agrees and they continue to walk through the muck just to come to a temple that was hundreds of years old"

Kyle: I think this is the Dark Temple,

Mara: lets check it out

**Mara steps toward the building**

Kyle: no we cant, The lightside cant exist in here, the darkside is so powerful, the force will not go with us if he enter the temple

Mara: and with our lightsabers malfuncioning...

Kyle:... we will virtuly be a moving target... for... whatevers in there...

**Suddenly they hear lukes crys for help comming from the inside of the temple**

Kyle and Mara have no choice. They must enter the temple. But without the force or thier sabers, they will probably stand no chance.

Mara: "We have to go in..."

Kyle: "Yeah, your right..."

They both walk towards the temple and stop in front of a large door. They notice a sign over the door.. The sign reads: "Abandon all hope."

Kyle: "Now, how are we supposed to get in?"

The temple doors slowly slide open by themselves, behind them is a ghost vision of Obi-wan. (Like in ROTJ)

Obi-Wan spirit: "I come as a message, If you enter, this temple, you will not leave. The lightside does not exist in there."

Mara: "We can't even defend ourselves..."

Obi-Wan spirit: "I will restore your lightsabers. So you can defend yourselves...
But the force.. The lightside is weak at the most in there, even with my help.I cannot help you beyond this point." "The force will be with you... always." With that obi-wan's spirit dissapears, and there lightsabers activate.

Mara and Kyle step past the entrance door, wich closes behind them with a loud thud.
Mara: "I guess we can't leave..."

Kyle: "Never before have i felt so much evil. This place is gonna make Droumund Kaas look like a day in the park..."

Luke's voice faintly in the distance: "Leave... Leave.. While you still can. Save yourselves..."

Mara: "Luke! Were coming to get you..."

A low evil bellowing laugh eminates from the passageway...

(woohoo! Let's see if I can't spice things up a bit...)

*Kyle and Mara continue to tread in the Sith-like Temple, hoping to find Luke...in one piece.*

Mara: "Man, this place gives me the chills."

Kyle: "Me too Mara, me too."

*Many thoughts were running in Kyle's mind, but the one that seemed to press the most was about Mara. He thought about how much easier it would be to fend for himself if Mara wasn't there to distract him, and it would be easier to leave alone, without worrying about anyone else but himself. He was thinking of how he could "accidentally" loose her-then he thought how silly he sounded and casted out the evil thoughts. But they still wispered in the back of his mind...)

Mara: "Watch out!"

*Kyle snapped to attention, but he saw nothing.*

Kyle: "Mara, this isn't the time to be playing jokes."

Mara: "I wasn't! I saw it dart across ready to attack, but when I looked where it should of been, it wasn't there."

Kyle: "I think your seeing things Mara, you can't let fear control you."

Mara: (in a cold voice)"Thanks for believing in me Kyle."

*They continued onward and behind them, the shadows creeped behind like apparitions.*

*Meanwhile, Luke has found himself in a dark void, which he appeared to be standing in the middle of.*

Luke: "MARA! KYLE!"*his voice echos off*

*He feels alone, yet he can sense another presence there. He feels weak, yet he has not struggled with anything. He feels powerless, yet the Dark side is there, beckoning him...*

(in case anyone wants to know, the moving shadows are real bad guys. They blend in the background(camaflouge), but prefer to hide in the dark. A person can't directly see it unless they believe that they really are there, like confronting a fear. They only have power if they believe they have power, but make sure any battle has a struggle. I will introduce a more physical bad guy in the next post.)

(I'm back! And the show goes on...)

*Luke feels abandoned from the Light side. Some ally the Force was he thought. Yet the Dark side was always there for him, ready to serve his purposes...he suddnely hears a voice. But it's voice isn't a single voice, but a million voices, echoing, crying, sreaming, vomiting, mocking, hating, dying.*

Voice: (in emperor's voice)"Yes Luke, release your anger. Only then can you join the Dark side of the Force."

Luke: "Palpatine? That can't be. Who are you?"

*Out of the darkness, a body emerges. It wears flowing black robes, you could not see its hands or feet. A hood was drapped over where the head should of been. It then reached to pull the hood off. He then revealed his face: flawless yet with no features. Where its eyes should of been were deep sockets instead, and in each glowed a red pupil, like the embers of a dying fire, or a dying soul.*

Voice: "We are the Darkside. We are one. We are your allies."

Luke: "You are wrong. The Light side is my only ally. (he adds with bitterness)"I'll never join you."

*The Darkside draws close to Luke*

Darkside: "If the Light side is your ally, where is it now?(it pauses to let the words sink into Luke's mind) We never abandon our allies Luke, like your "friends" have."

Luke: "You lie, they haven't abandoned me" *But Luke thought maybe they have, maybe they fled without him, leaving him to rot on the forsaken planet. He grew angry at them, wishing he could see them again, if only to spit in their faces...*

Voice: "Yes, yes...you will be ours."

*Kyle and Mara continue searching for Luke in a vain effort. Mara was still mentally recovering from her experience with what she thought she saw. She thought about Kyle, about how she despised him for always acting superior to everyone. Every since she trained under Kyle, he has only belittled her. She knew that she was better than him, in more control of the Force than Kyle because he had grew too strong in the Force too quick and could not control it. She knew because Kyle strayed to the Dark side before, and she thought what she could accomplish without him.*

Kyle: "Mara, look over there."

*Mara looked over into a dark corner. It looked like a pulsating pile of oily muck, like dark matter.*

Kyle: "What do you think it is?"

Mara: "I don't know, but I'm gonna find out."

*Mara walked over closer to the muck, lightsaber ignited. She poked at the pile and as she figured, it didn't react. Mara then walks away from it.*

Mara: "Figures, nothing but a pile of-"

Kyle: "Watch out!"

*Mara turned around, but before she could defend herself, the dark matter leaped at her and latched on to her body. When it made contact with her, Mara felt like extreme cold and heat had swept her body. She could also see killing others with a foriegn lightsaber, like seeing though a Sith's eyes. It felt like an eternity. Just as Mara felt she could not fight it any longer, Kyle slashed at the dark matter, and it fell to the floor.*

Mara: "What took you so long?"

Kyle: "Did you want me to hit you? And it was only two seconds, so I wouldn't be complaining."

*The two continued down the Dark citadel, the growing hatred for each other becoming more pressing...*

(Merlin, I introduced your Darkside badguy from teh neverending story. I felt he was more appropriate here. OK, now someone else continue please)

Mara and Kyle are now walking down a passageway, arguing.

Mara: "I could of easily defended myself against that damn dark matter thing, but nooooo, you had to come in with your great big ego, and your greater than everyone attitude, and what kind of Jedi are you? a true Jedi would of easily been able to figure out how to save me in a split second!"

Kyle: "Dont you give me that. I didnt want to chance striking you, now that i think about it though maybe i should of...."

Mara: "THAT IS IT! I am fed up with you Katarn, Some Jedi you are, you couldnt even control the force at Droumund Kaas! I ended coming in and Saving your ass..."

Kyle: "Dont give me that bull, Im no Jedi? this coming from Palpitines former assasin..."

Mara stops for a second: "Wha.. What are we doing?"

Kyle stops, realizing the same thing: "Were fighting eachother instead of this temple, its trying to get to us... We have to overcome it Mara, before it destroys BOTH of us..."

Mara: "Your right. We almost gave in to the Darkside, we have to stick together, more now than ever..."

Darkside thinks to himself: "You will give in to the Sith, Jedi's... It is only a matter of time..."

Actually the darkside enemy I introduced then, really isn't a single enemy in the usuall sense. I based it off of material I read that was in a book about case studies of demonic possesion. What happens is this character is both, all the people that every were part of the darkside, and yet controlled by a single entity (in the book that would be satan and the others lesser demons) and it keeps using I and we and me and us interchagenabley. And there are thousands present. And it only hates for hatred sake. At least that was what it was when I introduced it before someone kick it out of the other story, thanks for bringing it back.

(Sure thing merlin...would you like to write some with the Darkside character you introduced? It would help to know how he as a character acts, though now I know he is really many. I'm liking this story, but my brain is starting to run out of stuff for this[besides the final battle of course, I got that figured out] and would like some other situations unless you want to get to the climax now. And about the Dark matter enemies: they are suppose to be like the souls of former sith, and you can only hurt them if you believe you can hurt them[like in the book "IT"]. Later.)

Mara and Kyle press on into the templa with the power of darkside growing every minute.

Kyle: Somethings not right, weve been walking for hours yet weve gotten nowhere

Mara: ive realized that too, it must be some kind of trick we have to find a way ....

A noise that can only be described as rusted metal grinding against bone emerges behind Kyle and Mara.

Kyle jumps to the left while Mara jumps right. When they are ten feet apart fromm each other, a huge balck stone slab splits the two apart.

Mara: Kyle!!!!!

Mara ignites her lightsaber and slashes into the ancient stone. As soon as the briliant blue saber came into contact with the stone it immediatly shut down.

Mara: Shaph i knew it. it's corash stone. The lightsaber cant cut through it. I need another way to reach kyle.

*As Kyle is interuped by a fake Luke
Mara remembers she brought a blaster with her, she takes it out and shoots it... nothing happens...*

*Mara Hears kyles screams from behind the rock... but there nothing she can do*

Mara: I hear you kyle, and is that luke?!

Kyle (Faint Voice): Mara!... use the Force and lift up the rock! im too weak right now, I think I hear Luke!

*Mara Uses the force and lifts up the rock just enough so she can see kyle, then it falls back down*
***BOOOOOM*** was the sound when it came crashing down

*Unstable Pillers started falling down at the sound and crash of the concussion*

Mara: this part of the temple is COLAPSING

Kyle: QUICKLY MARA! THERES NOT MUCH TIME! I Cant go on without you!

(((([ ooooooooooooohhh A Cliff Hanger here! you decide what happens next! ]))))

Mara has no choice. There is only one thing that could possibly destroy this obstacle. Force Destruction.

Mara: "Kyle, Use destruction on the wall, two blasts SHOULD blow through it."

Kyle: "In i SITH TEMPLE?!? Use the darkside?!?"

Mara: "We have no choice!"

Kyle: "Your right, on 3..."

Mara and Kyle have no choice but to use a dark power. Mara and Kyle open thier minds to the Darkside...

Mara: "1... 2... 3!"

With that, both release a amplified blast of destruction(because of all the dark power), that easily blows through the wall.

Mara Dosent waste any time for the dust to clear, hoping the wall was blown. She leaps through the dust and lands safley on the other side, just in time too. Kyle sees the tunnel collapse on the other side.

Kyle: "Mara, we are weak to the Darkside now because we had to open our minds to it. Resist it!"

Mara: "Im trying...."

Kyle and Mara are both able to resist the darkside, but are left very weak in the process. Kyle and Mara sit resting.

Mara: "We cant stay in this area for long, we have to get moving..."

Kyle: "We have another problem too. We have just run out of food rashons... We need to find or get supplies.."

Hey Ares, I'm loving the story. But I want to know if you could edit one of your posts to talk about what the sith temple looks like. Give it definition and quality that is worthy of this story. Wish I could think of something to add(hate writer's block). Maybe at one point later on, Kyle and Mara split up where the Darkside can prey on them alone, without support. Then they could meet up where Luke is and then have the final battle, where perhaps they can find out that Obi-won's words about the force is with them always being true and absorb and reflect the power of the darkside. What do you think?

I'd just like to point out that Force destruction isn't indiginous to the darkside, whether you are on the dark or light side is determined by HOW you use the force... not WHAT PARTS of it you use..

Dark Voice (to Luke): You know, your sister's dead body you saw in the swamp. That wasn't an illusion, it was a vision! Of her future!

Luke (miserable): Shut up!

Voice (every pause is followed with and echo sound like those in Mots sith catacombs): But you can't silence me. . . I am part of you. . . (rising to a cresendo) You can't deny it. . . I WILL HAVE YOU!!! (Scream fades into nothingness.

Meanwhile Mara and Kyle have continued to walk.

Mara: Kyle I'm sorry about . . .

She turns to look at Kyle but he isn't there.

Mara: Kyle? KYLE!

Kyle suddenly has found himself in a room filled with sith carvings in the walls. The air is stale in the room. He looks about and suddenly realizes this room has no exits! No doors, no tunnels, nothing!

Dark Voice: That's right Kyle, no exits! Just like being seal in a . . . tomb. Your tomb Kyle. Unless you join us.

The shadows on the far side of the room begin to flow from their places. They swirl and merge to form the shadowy form of a man.

Kyle: What are you!

Voice: I am the darkside. It past (the shadow in a flash of light now looks like Darth Maul) . . . It's present (in the same fashion it becomes a figure he doesn't recognize, but he has no doubt it is the image of some living dark jedi) . . . It future (in the same fashion, again, it now looks like Kyle himself the voice is now his voice too). . .Your future. . . You have no choice, just as you really didn't at Dromund Kaas. You were always meant to be a dark jedi. Just so far you've avoided that fate. You could have killed Jan that day, then killed Jerec in the valley and taken your true calling. You were given another chance at Dromund Kaas. But Mara intervened and averted your destiny then. But it has ALWAYS BEEN YOUR DESTINY. Now you will fufill you destiny. . . Either as one of us or a corpse.

Voice fades into whispers and vanishes.

Luke still in that dark place and now the voice returns. He could hear what had been said to kyle.

Voice: We know you could hear what I said to Kyle. It is your destiny too Luke. . . You nearly took it when you battled your father. You did take it for a time while you served the Emperor. You have felt that call many times.

Luke refuses to listen.

Voice: We didn't tell you yet how your sister will die.

Luke despite himself feels he wants to know in hopes of preventing it.

Voice: You will kill her. Once you join us you will use the force and bring her to the swamp. And then you will strike her down as a sacrifice to us for eternal life that we offer. We did not even offer it to Palpatine, but you, YOU are . . . special. But before you can do that you will have to do something worse. You will join us by offering us an even better. . . . sacrifice. To strike down you wife, Mara.

Luke: You know I won't join you, you know I won't do THAT!

Voice: But you won't think that when the time comes. When you do the act you will tell her you . . ."love" her and then you will kill her and you will like it! We know you will, because for us you already have. . .

Well, i know no one force power is indigionous to either side, but i think in a place like this, they would want to avoid using any dark power, it just seemed like the right way to put it.

Now to get back to the story...

Kyle has bean sealed in his tomb unless he turns to the darkside. "YOU WILL NOT GET AWAY WITH THIS DARKSIDE!" He yells.

voice of Darkside echoing: "I already have."

Kyle rembers what luke told him about a conversation he had with Obi-Wan on the Falcon

(Begin flashback.)

Obi-wan: "Rember a Jedi can feel the force flowing through him"

Luke: "You mean it controls your actions?"

Obi-Wan: "Partially. but it also obeys your commands."

(End flashback.)

Kyle closes his eyey and lets the force enter him. Kyle then realives there is something not quite right about the room. He can feel that it is only a illusion. and resists it. He opens his eyes, and watches the room disolve away.

Mara was about to continue walking, thinking she had become permenanty seperated from Kyle. She is about to start walking when suddenly he appears in front of her.

Mara: "Kyle!"

But Kyle is to weak to respond.

Mara thinks to herself: We need to get some supplies and set up camp somewere safe, we need rest.

Darkside to Mara: "Your friend has a strong concience. Lets test YOUR endurance now."

Mara sees a pair of stone skeleton statues holding scythes come to life

Mara: "Oh this cant be good..." Lights her saber and prepares for combat..

(Unlike most things, the skeletons weapons cant be cut through with a saber.)

Suddenly Luke finds himself with his saber drawn standing behind the two skeletons. He quickly strikes down the two skeletons. Then he rushes over to Mara. For a moment they embrace.

Luke: Thank the force you are alright.

He kisses her.

Luke: I love you mara.

No sooner had he spoke those words but he felt a strange urge with in himself. He is still holding his lightsaber in hand.

Mara: I love you to --

Luke activates his lightsaber blade and the green blade extends outward and it stabs into Mara's stomach.

Mara (in extreme pain): LUKE . . .

Mara falls to the ground clutching the wounds gasping for breath.

Luke feels the urge flow over him a second time. He turns his lightsaber so the blade point straight down over Mara.

Mara: Luke. . . what are you . . . Luke, no. NO!

Luke stabs the blade downward into Mara, and as she dies she screams, like Luke screamed as the Emperor attacked him on the second death star, but this time their was no Anikin to save her from Luke.

Luke stared at her for a couple of minutes after she stoped moving. Then slowly he backed away from her dead body. Then he turned and ran. Not caring where he ran as long as it was away from what he had done. And after running through some dark tunnels he found himself at the temple entrance. But he didn't stop he ran until he reached the ship. Then he went inside to the cockpit and found it fully operational.

Luke looks down at his hands as he did once on the second death star when he saw the similarity between his hands and his father.

Luke (to himself): What have I done?!

Voice (whispers in his ear): Now you are one of us!

Luke was terrified of what dark urge possessed him to kill Mara. Now he knew there was no reason to stay here. So he started up the ship and headed home.

--In case you didn't guess it all that Luke just did is an illusion meant for him. Please do have him just get out of it. I was thinking of him going back to coruscant and meeting Han and Leia and others he knows. But they don't show any love for him only cold indifference. As if they know what he has done (even though he knows noone else knows). He has to deal with it now (in the illusion of course.)

(Hmm...I wonder why you threw in the stone skeletons Ares(cough)? Heehee, but I'll go with it. May I suggest though that you refine the skins for the enemies you made though)

*Mara lashes at the stone skeleton in front of her, attempting to chop the scythe in half when to her surprise it stays very much in one piece*

Mara: "Well, I guess you want to fight the hard way."

*the skeleton in front of her arches its scythe to cleave her head, but Mara strafes to her right as it comes down and she slashes the foe's back with her lightsaber. Mara looks down confidently at her now still opponent, but then senses that someone is still behind her. The other skeleton! She quickly ducks, just in time as she sees the scythe swing right where her neck was. She backs up, preparing to fight the enemy.*

Mara: "Come here you ugly creep."

*The skeleton executes an underswing, arching it from floor to ceiling, and nearly slicing mara in half vertically. Mara then swings with her lightsaber at the skeleton creature, but it blocks her attack. She swings several more times, but the skeleton blocks her with its scythe. It then begins to perform a very powerful down swing, but as it comes down, Mara grabs teh stick and holding on to it, pulls it over her with the skeleton still holding to it. The skeleton then shattered on the ground from the force of the move Mara pulled. Mara stares at the skeleton, not quite sure if she is to believe it were truely defeated.*

(I wasn't sure how good these guys are, so I left their demise uncertain. Also, I plan to bring back the apparition creatures for Mara and Kyle to fight. And has Luke in the story gone into a mental breakdown or something? All three are going to be pretty weak when the final battle comes, don't you think? And when you make the level Ares, how about some zombie-like guys outside the temple to blend in with the dead bodies that are suppose to be laying around. Oh, and something else, are you going to introduce the spider creatures you wanted to do?)

--Hey for an enemy you could have a head that suddenly flies up from the ground where it was laying and for an attack it head bangs you! (like a storm trooper punch) and cuase they fly about it'll be hard to hit them!

Bout the head enemies... I have something similar completed. Im bascly recreating the Lost Souls from doom... Man those things were annoying... Anyways, like the doom version they will have a trail of fire behind them (sprites) and they will shoot fireballs. (Basicly the temple equivalant of a Mynoc{The flying things in JK}.)

The skelletons will basicly be the Temple equivilant of a stormtrooper, not overly smart, but tough.

(I'm assuming that how Mara fought the skeletons was OK Ares, so I am going to continue, and check your mail)

*After the attack with the skeleton warriors, Mara stood in ready position, expecting them to come back to life and continue fighting. When she feels that they have been defeated, Mara walks over to the temporary camp where Kyle lies recuperating.*

Mara: "How you coming along Kyle?"

Kyle: "I've felt better. We need to find something to eat Mara, I've forgotten how long its been since I've last eaten."

Mara: "I'll try to find something, just hang in there."

*Mara then searches around the temple, wondering how she would be able to find something eatable in this wretched place. But after some wandering, she found a exit ouside the temple into a dilapetated garden area, scattered with dead bodies and overgrown plants. She grabbed one of the dead bodies and some berries and took tehm back to the camp, where she prepared tehm to eat. They both started eating, noticeing the food was bitter and did not feel that it filled their stomachs.*

Kyle: (after he had finished eating)"We should get some sleep. We can't go on fighting not fully concsious."

Mara: "I suppose. But I don't think either one of us will be having plesant dreams."

*They both then uneasily fell to sleep. The two both had nightmares of the hooded figure clad in black robes, of shadows that attacked them, of fighting each other. When they woke, Mara turned to Kyle.*

Mara: "I had terrible nightmares, all involving a figure in black robes. I couldn't see his face under his hood."

Kyle: "I had similar visions. we should continue our search for Luke."

*They packed up the camp and continued to follow down the Dark Temple. A shadowy figure swept by them.*

Mara: "There it is again! Did you see it Kyle?"

Kyle: "Yes, I saw it. But I don't want to fight it, whatever it is."

Mara: "We have to Kyle, we have to confront our fears. How else can we be prepared for the hooded man in our dreams?"

Kyle: "Your right Mara, let's confront it."

*They walked to the shadowy corner they believed it fled to, using their sabers to light the darken area. As the darkness dispersed, a greyish/black sillouette still stood there, a vague shadow in a human shape. In a sudden motion, it lept towards Kyle, attacking it with what appeared to be its arms. Kyle swung madly with its saber, finally striking it, the shadow being then fell to the ground.*

Mara: "Look Kyle, more of them!"

*Barely visible in the dark places of the temple, they could see darker black moving against the black shadows of the temple. Kyle then charges at one of the shadow beings, but before he can strike it, it seems to dissapear from his sight.*

Mara: "Kyle, behind you!"

*Kyle spun around, swinging his saber to strike the attacking shadow. But the shadow quickly strafed away from his saber and attacked his side. Kyle then delievered a blow with his saber before it could evade his attack. Mara had been watching Kyle fight off his opponent and did not see the approching shadow coming for her. Sensing its presence, she turns around to defend herself.*

Mara: "We have to move away from here quickly."

*Mara and Kyle head for an exit while defending themselves from the shadow beings.*

(Ares, this would be the only place in the level with lots of these types to fight off. They would usually be spaced out, hiding in the shadows and creeping up behind them to attack them. They would be the opposite of a skeleton warrior: smart and fast but weak. The two bad guys should compliment each other nicely. And of course the Darkside character would be smart, fast AND strong: he has to be a pain in the a** to fight, after all, he's the collective darkside)

Also don't use sprites for the trail unless you have something particular in mind... just have a pulse making persuation particles behind it, but make a new template for them with the blood or fire mat... Looks better, more 3d http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif

Well, right now im focusing on the story before the level. I would like to have the story completed before i start the level, that way, i dont have to make up stuff as i go along. I will construct the enemies first though. When it comes time for the level, i will design the level around the story.

But as you probably have all guessed, the final version of the story will be edited to work better, amd be more evened out. there are parts of this story that i can already see will need serious adusting, but im not worrying about that now.

Look for a version after the Level is released (if ever) of things cut from it.)

SITH HELL OUTTAKES!
Luke: "I thought I saw Leia dead."
Mara (shivers): "This place reminds me of..."
Kyle: "Um... err... ah crap, what was my line?"
-Beep-

Sith Skeleton comes at mara, and trips on a crack in the floor.
Sith skelleton(face down on floor.): "Ah *beep*..."
-Beep-

Sith Skeleton swings scythe at kyle, misses, and gets blade stuck in wall.
Sith skelleton: "Um, a little help please.."
Kyle and Mara assist in trying to yank scythe out of the wall, but fail.
Sith skelleton(Towards offstage): "How many times do i have to tell you idiots to use FOAM props..."
-Beep-

Mara cuts skelleton in half, and looses her balance falling backwards and landing on top of kyle.
Other Sith skelleton: "This is my opponent?"
Mara: "When the *beep* is someone gonna call cut?"
Director: "Cu-"

Right on the mark Bobafett, they would be translucent and black/grey skin. They would also be as non-corpral looking as possible(meaning that the arm will look more like a wave of smoke). Now making them fast and smart is the hard part...

What the hell am i getting myself into here... lol...

Yes about 90% of the level will be dark, (except fior the few parts that take place in outside areas.)

And i plan on having the level steadly go deeper and deeper. Like there going down into the bowels of hell...

What im toying with the idea of doing for computer enemy intelegence, is possible starting with the Synced enemy cog, (Works in SP too...)

Oh crap i have to go right now... Ill write more later.

Ok, were was i.. Oh yeah, What im toying with the idea of doing for computer enemy intelegence, is possible starting with the Synced enemy cog, and making it smarter. The way i figure it, you can make the cog smarter than a AI because with AI:
1.) There are very few commands that can be put in the AI file.
2.) The commands even when used as best as possible, arent overly bright anyway.

But with cogs, there is a emormous field of commands that can be used in any order and applied to eachother in almost any way, wich SHOULD make it possible to make a computer enemy with a COG ai, much smarter than one controlled by JK's normal AI files.

Threedee, about the shadow enemies. I suppose they could be light to the point that you can see them at all, but they have to be able to hide as well, we don't want attacking lightbulbs. Remeber, in the story, they have trouble finding them. Man, I'm loving this story!
Oh, and Ares, should I draw some pics of teh characters(like the shadow beings, the Darkside, and dark matter) along with the surroundings and possibly some level designs(for what has been written already)? I could e-mail them to you, and you could either use it as a guide or forward the e-mail to someone else to make.

(I just realized that you wanted to have Lost Soul-like guys in the level, but you never mention them in this story as of yet, so...)

*After having escaped from the shadow beings, they enter a room scattered with skeletons. They got into a defensive position as skeleton warriors armed with scythes rose from the ground and came for the two. Mara and Kyle managed to evade the slow warroirs and stike them down. After some time, it had appeared as if they had killed off all of the warriors. The two continued down the room when suddenly a skull from the ground rose and flew right for them, leaving behind a trail of fire.*

Mara: "This place just keeps popping up with new surprises, doesn't it?"

*Mara sidestepped teh fireball that spat from the flying skull and easily killed it, but even as the foe fell, more rose and flew towards them.*

Kyle: "There are too many! I don't know how long I can defend myself."

Meanwhile Luke has his own troubles. He now arrives at Coruscant. Leia meets him as the ship lands. Luke climbs down the gangplank.

Leia: Luke where are Mara and Kyle.

Luke (quietly): Their dead, Leia.

Leia: You murder her didn't you.

Luke: WHAT?!

Leia: I said, "what happened?"

Luke: . . . Our ship, became trapped on this world, like Dromund Kaas. But worse, much worse. . . . he and Mara, went into a temple there. I saw her die. . .

Leia: Oh, Luke, I'm so sorry.

She puts her arm around Luke's shoulder to comfort him. Luke feels the urge again his had goes for his lightsaber, then he stops and pulls his hand back.

Leia: Luke you don't look well, I think you should go rest.

Luke: Yes. Your right.

Luke goes to his quaters. After a few minutes Han comes in.

Han: I heard what happened. I'm sorry.

Luke: Yes.

Han: So how does it feel to have murdered your wife.

Luke: What did you say?!

Han: I said how are you feeling?

Luke: I don't know what I am going to do.

Han (getting up to leave): Well you know I am behind you and will help in any way I can. . .perhaps you'd like to murder Leia too. (Before Luke can respond Han turns and leaves.)

Luke (to himself aloud): What is happening to me!

--Hey. Isn't anybody going to post but me! Grumble. Grumble. Just kidding. But I'm only going to help complete Lukes bit, you guys will have to complete the rest.--

Luke headed back to the ship he had used to lift off from that hellish world. As he boarded the gangplank to the ship, Leia walked in.

Leia: Your going back to that world again, aren't you?

Luke: Yes.

Leia: You're not going with out me. I can't let you go there alone.

Luke: No. Leia. . .

Leia: You'll have to kill me to stop me from coming.

Luke: All right, come aboard.

Luke now leaves Leia in the to seal the entrance to the ship while he goes to the cockpit. He enteres the cockpit and sits in the piolit's seat.

Luke (whispered to himself): I may kill you if you come too.

The ship lifts off and is on its way back.

(During this time you would want to switch back to Mara and Kyle while the ship is en route)

The ship decends with ease onto the planets surface. Leia exits the ship first followed by Luke. As she stands at the bottom of the gangplank as Luke exits the ship and stands at the top of the gangplank that urge hits him again ten times as powerful as before. His had goes for his lightsaber. He ignites it. Leia turns around to see him coming down the gangplank with his saber ready to strike her down. She backs away. Suddenly she trips over a root of a nearby tree and falls to the ground facing upward as Luke now stands over her with his lightsaber.

Leia: Luke! No. Don't! STOP! No!

The darkside voice: DO IT!

Luke hesitates.

Voice and Leia in unison: DO IT!

Luke trembles.

Luke: NO! This isn't real! NONE OF THIS IS REAL!

Luke turns the saber on himself and drives it through his chest.

Luke: AHHHHHHHHHH!

The sky and world around him shatter like glass and lightning flashes and thunder rolls. Suddenly he finds himself whole and unharmed in that dark room agian. For he had never let it.

--What do you think of that? Just a suggestion, that you do all of the Luke stuff I wrote in a extened cutscene (different scenes shown as you progress through the temple) Make sure to use different and interesting camera angles, like when Luke stands over Leia, have the camera switch to her veiw for a few seconds so the audience can feel terror from her view as Luke stands over her ready to do the deed. You might want to make the scene as similar to the one with Mara as possible, thus emphasising the difference in his final decision. Though to make all of this work out good, you'll need to make a lot of new keys for the cutscenes.--

oh, ok, so your just pretty much saying that it will take a long time for this to get done. ok, I can deal with that, I'll still be playing JK when its dead(hey, I play goldeneye for N64 and thats as old as JK, with no editing capabilities! But I need to know: weapons for the heros(I thought they'd just have lightsabers and blasters) or the enemies(which skeletons have scythes and the rest I thought were weapons themselves). After all, this is sith hell, who needs weapons when you've got flying heads spitting fireballs? But then again, most good SP levels have weapons in them...hmm...and Ares, could you help me out by continuing my last post?(its about them encountering the flying skulls, I figure you could write up a section best for it, I could probably then continue. If we could only get some others in this story now....

*Kyle and Mara are continuing to defend themselves from the many flaming skulls, but it seems that they are just too outnumbered.*

Kyle: "There's too many of them! We can't last much longer!"

*Just as it seemed that they were about to loose, Luke rushes in from behind the swarm of flying skulls. He ignites his saber and turns the tide as he helps to kill their enemy. After the room was clear, the three moved onward deeper into the dark temple.*

Mara: "I'm so glad to see you Luke! We thought you were dead!"

Luke: "You couldn't possibly know how much I missed you Mara.(he gives Kyle a cold look, as if to tell him that he should keep his distance from Mara, then looks back at Mara) We can get through this."

*Luke, Mara and Kyle continued to walk through dark imposing hallways with twisted walls and endless ceilings. It seemed as if the temple had a life of its own.*

LUKE: We've got to get out of here before we die. Even the most powerfull of jedi couldn't last here much longer without succombing to the dark side.

All of a sudden, the long hallway seemed to extend 10 miles. The point right in front of them seemed to swell and get larger. The dim light if the corridor was bent around the shape of a large figure, 3 times larger than a normal human. The eyes seemed like a pair of binary black holes. The figure slightly illuminated itself in red to reveal the clocked spirit of Freedon Nadd. The figure groaned in anger, loud enough to blow the trio of jedi down. Nadd raised his hands, and a swirling vortex of energy gathered in his palms.

NADD: YOU WILL NEVER AGAIN SEE THE LIGHT OF DAY!

The echo of the sith lord's voice was enough to crack several of the bricks lining the corridor. he thrust his hands forward, releasing the energy stright at Mara, Luke, and Kyle. Luke tried to shunt the energy into a defensive shield, but it was no use. All Three of them were blasted back by the tremendous force. Red lightning crackled all over Luke's body, causing him to writhe uncontrollabley in pain. Mara seemed to be being crushed by a giant hand. They flew back a few hundred meters and instantly hit a wall. Both mara and luke could hear several of kyle's ribs shatter. the Jedi screamed in pain. Mara picked herself up, tring to use any technique to get rid of her unimaginable headache. Just then, they saw the floor a few feet in front of them open. Dazed by preious events, they couldn't tell if this was yet another sith illusion. flames and smoke lept from the hole, filling the room with a cold, dim orange light. A cloaked figure rose slowly out of the midsts. His dark blue face was covered with red bloodshot veins. luke just barely recognised him as the millenia old dark lord of the sith, Darth Bane.

Luke, Mara and Kyle find themselves falling down the pit when suddenely that stop falling and go flying back out of the pit to smash into the floor a few feet in front of the pit they see Darth Bain behind them laughing and the black creature in front of them Kyle groaned in pain and lay still knocked out from the pain luke and mara stand back to back sabers ignited Mara facing Bane and luke facing the black creature then the black creature JUMP at them and luke and mare both jump out of the way the large, black creatures feet land only inches from kyles head then luke shouts to mara:i have an idea! C'mon lets go stand by the pit they both walk twords the pit deflecting blows from Darth Bane then when they are about to fall off the pit they both jump at Darth Bane and push him into the pit he falls for a feew feet and then levitates out then the black creature jumps at them Luke and Mara jump away and the creature lands on darth bane and they both fall into the pit

Luke>Yea..we need to help kyle you set up the camp over there

as they walk twelve of the skelaton creatures come out of hidden doors in the walls and begin whaking at them with thier sword type weapons Luke, Mara and kyle all ignite their lightsabers and they all are surounded by four skelatons at once Mara was the first to strike one down having betteled them before she shasled down as it was chopping at her waist she de capitated it then rolled under its blade shortely there after it was all over with no injuries then there was a strange laugh then: You are pretty good said a voice coming from no where and everywhere then from out of the shadows came Darth Vader

Im afraid not said Vader it came runing at them lightsaber ignited and as it slashed at Mara she deflected and luke went to cut it in half from behind but it vanished and appeared behind luke as Darth Maul then kyle almost hit it but it vanished again and re-appeared as a younger palpatine holding a lightsaber it was behind them and it raised its lightsaber for the killing blow to Kyle

PALPY: You pitful fools! i'd have thought 3 jedi would be smarter than to enter a temple filled with the dark side power of thousands of sith ghosts!

Kyle slowly picked up, clutching his wounded chest. Palpatine threw his ignited lightsaber between his two hands, cackling evilly. He looked at luke

PALPY: And you, skywalker! YOU destroyed my body and my clones. I will now have long awaited revenge.

he kicked mara square in the stomach, knocking the wind out of her. she crumpled to the floor as she gasped for air. palpatine walked towards luke.

the horror of seeing his friends being hurt caused a fresh anger to arise in Luke.

LUKE: NO! THIS IS ENOUGH

he threw out his hand in a telekinetic gesture. the power of his hate of the sith flowed through his arm, pushing back the emporer with an amazing force. moments later , he realized what he'd done. the dark side, no matter if it was used for evil OR good, was bad. he wouldn't give in, for the sake of the republic, for his students, his sister, and his friends. he couldn't give in.

suddenly, freedon nadd appeared, along with palpatine, renewed with a fresh look of strength.

NADD: we read your thoughts, fool. this disturbance of the sith resting place must end, HERE AND NOW!

another dark lord, unrecogniseable to any of the jedi, appeared from the shadows. wit ha swiping gesture of his fist, a volley of small stones went flying towards the jedi. luke, mara, and kyle tried to deflect them, but it was no use. why did they keep forgetting? it would never be of any use. the light side doesn't exist here. all they could hear in there minds were distant sith voices chanting "come to the dark, come, come, come..."
the rocks struck the jedi, tearing chunks of skin off of luke. one smashed mara's nose, causing it to bleed heavily. kyle simply dropped form exhaustion. the sith lords laughed loudly and eerily, and more objects hurtled at them a piece of wood hit luke across the face, knocking his face back down into the musky dirt

LUKE *thinking to himself* we're going to die, i can feel it. not even master yoda could go through with this.
kyle finally got the strenth to lift his head. he saw about 10, no, 20 sith lords with their hands raised, merging all of their enerygy into a destructive blast. this is the end, he though. all at once, the shaped of exar kun threw the ball of energy at the three jedi. mara winced, hoping for a quick death. all of a sudden, about 10 feet from them, the blast stopped short, and dissipated itself across some type of...invisable sheild...or so it seemed.

LUKE: what the....

the sith lords roared in anger, causing the temple to shake. but luke felt something else. he didn't hear the voices in his head. neither did kyle or mara. he couldn't feel the force, but he DIDN'T feel the dark side either. he then heard an annoyed sound, a hiss-chirp type of noise. it sounded like a lizard.

LUKE: this has got to be a trick. now they are sending out their killer reptile to finish us off. he looked towards a crack in the wall.

slowly, a small, furred lizard worked its way out of the crack. it looked irritated from being awakened, and slowly blinked an eye.

MARA: "a....a...ysalamiri...." she gasped

Luke:He..he was not matter he was just..the..force in a material form...we should stay near this area..there may even be more of them in the crack..like babys
Mara:But we still have to get out of here! eventually they will kill them
as if summoned by her words twenty of the skelaton creatures came marching down the hall ignoring the wounded jedi and heading twords the Ysalamari they got within six feet and crumpled down to the floor the fifteen remaining skelatons threw their blades at the Ysalamari all missing as it scuried back into the crack luke and mara pulled Kyle twords the crack and were still safely within the non-force bubble
Luke:how are they here? i though they could only survive if they were on a Admiral Thrawn style nutrient frame or in the trees of Mirk?
Mara:Unless this is some new evolution...survival or even a difrent speciese...the Jedi never ventured to this planet before and warned others not to also so who knows? this is a gold mine of research if we can only shut down this temple
Kyle:Maybe we can lure it out and carry it on our back or in our hand or..ANYTHING! but its a way to escape
Luke:Yes but for now we must wait here untill it DOES come out and besided we need to recouperate after that battle
Mara:Yes i think--whats that?? do you hear that? sounds like marching
Kyle:Maybe they are gone throw their spears at US were easier targets.
Then six of the skelatins came around the corner holding Blasters
Kyle:Hey!! thats my spare Brayr pistol from the ship!
Mara:And the rest of em came from the cargo hold!
Luke:Without access to the force we cant deflect their blasts! and we cant acess the force from within ou from outside the Bubble!

(first off, about when this story turns into a SP level, quite far off. 1: it just got 10 times harder to make, but we were never concerned with that 2: should it be made for MotS or JK? 3: I like the idea of fighting other dark jedi. after all, its the sith burial place, like the opposite of teh Valley of the jedi. That wouldn't be too hard to do. Ok, lets see how I can add to this...)

*The jedi trio were now faced with the skeleton warriors, but were armed with their own blasters. It seemed as if there was no hope. But then inspiration struck Luke.*

Luke: "I've got it! Kyle, you divert their attention while Mara and I strafe around the group and knock them out."

Kyle: "But without the protection of the ysalimiri, we'll be defenseless!"

Luke: "That's why we'll be quick."

*Kyle then waved his arms and jumped like an idiot, distracting the sith skeletons. While Kyle dodged the blaster shots, Mara and Luke snuck up behind them, grabbed them and swung their bodies against the wall, shattering them to bits. They each picked up a blaster and shot teh rest of them down. They quickly went back inside the protection of the ysalimiri, grabbing an extra blaster for Kyle.*

Luke: "Can't hang around Han Solo and not pick up a few things."

Mara: "Yeah, but we got bigger problems. Look over there, some old friends."

*They stared outside the protective bubble, where they noticed dark sillouettes looming, peering at them, waiting for the jedi to come out.*

Kyle: "I'll just shoot them off"

*Kyle shot at the shadow beings, but to no effect. It seemed they would have to wait for the ysalimiri to come back out or to risk fighting the stealthy shadow beings. Time would decide...*

hey im gona add to the story but first off i have some non-story stuff:
hey this is cool and i think it should be JK cause i dont have MOTS and i want to play this thing! but yea this is awsome...should have came to this message board before...

now onto the story!
Mara:Im getting hungrey
Kyle:Well the most important thing to remember is to NOT kill the Ysalmari to eat when he comes out
Luke:If he comes out. We may be scaring him after all the Ysalamari from Mirk used the force bubble as defence so if this thing is using it for the same thing then why would it come right out into the open?
Kyle>Then what do we do? we cant access the force to lure it out even if we were outside the bubble we still have the dark temple to deal with even if we were outside the bubble and there was no dark forces it still would be inside the bubble! i think thats a lot of BIG ifs
Luke:your right..we cant give up hope...maybe...if i give myself to the darkside i could save you guys then i could kill myself or--
Kyle and Mara:NO!
Kyle:Thats not an option..maybe..Yun was a darkjedi and in the end he helped me..maybe he would do the same again?
Kyle yelling:Yun! Yun! Yun can you hear me?
*Laughing*

Palpatine came walking and stayed twenty feet away then he turned into Jeric and laughed adain
Jeric:Fool with all this dark power do you think we would allow one trecheras(--Spell Error) dark jedi to save you? you will die a painful death
He twiched his hand and two other Dark Jedi, Saris and Darth Maul, come from the shadows and they all began holding their hands out in the air and a energy ball began forming in the air then it went shooting twords the roof above Luke, Mara and Kyles heads
With all the disturbance the Ysalamari came running out of the the crack with three other, smaller, ones on its back luke grabbed it and did his best to make sure the little ones on its back did not fall off and he , Mara and Kyle went running twords the dark jedi all the dark jedi disapeared and apeared behind them all ignited lightsabers and hutled them at the jedi ising the force to guide them as soon as the sabers entered the bubble they lost control of them but they were still heading for the jedi!

Suddenly, the Yasalimari lased out at Luke firing from its mouth destruction. Luke landed a few feet back on the floor, stratled and dazed. The Yasalimari, turned its attack on the dark cherecters, emitting a shockwave of some sort. The dark cherecters yelled in pain, and dissapeared.

Luke: "Did you see...."

Mara: "The Yasalimari...."

Kyle: "IT MUST BE A ADAPTION! It has adapted to be able to defend itself in this temple!"

Luke: "I sense it absorbing the dark power..."
Mara: "It must of learned through adaption, to not repel the force anymore, but use it to its advantage..."

Kyle: "I wasnt aware that was possible..."

This level(s) will be for Jedi Knight. And i have made one other decision. Someone WILL die at the end of this story, who i have not decided yet.....

wait a second...i was just wondering about what dash rendar said in part of your story. i may be wrong, but this came to my mind. i thought there was a difference between DARK JEDI and SITH. jerec and sariss are not sith, right? if they were, they'd have "Darth" titles, the tradition Bane invented. this is a sith temple. or does it matter? they both use the dark side. can dark jedi be in a sith temple.

Ares-no! make it for MotS! MotS has way more texrures, cogs, 3dos, etc. The sithdie.wav or whatever it's called gives me the creeps, so you should use it. it only comes in mots.
dash-you don't have mots? you gotta get it! new weapons, levels, etc. the last few levels (sith temple on dromuund kaas) are scary, i think. going to them may give you some more inspiration for you contributions to the story (which are great so far!)

make it for JK for one simple reason. WAY MORE PEOPLE PLAY IT! thats right. it may have a better engine and stuff but, well its like this. Manowar 3 was great! but it was MotS. i hardly play MotS(hardly anyone does) MP. hte SP is great but jk MP is way more popular. as for the sithdie.wav it can be used in JK.

[Non story reply] A few things:

*Dash Rendar: I'm not sure if you read my post very carefully or how much of the sith hell story you read, but in your story reply after mine, you totally ignored the shadow beings that were waiting for them outside teh Force bubble. Thought I should point that out.

*about the diesith.wav: I don't know what it sounds like, but I wonder if it is anything like what I thought would be neat for this story/SPlevel. Have music like in the emperor's throne room in RotJ and have low chanting in the background saying "come to the dark(side)". As you got deeper into the temple, the volume of the chanting could increase also.

*The debate between whether to do this on JK or MotS really depends on your objectives: for atmosphere or people playing it. I'd have to say JK because with a little work the engine can be stretched to its limits. And if its done well, it will still have an errie effect. But I'm not a experienced editor yet, so I'm not entirely sure.

They all felt weak, lost, and helpless for nothing could help them, not even ysalimiri, which seemed to use the Force instead of divert the Force to protect themselves. They looked at each other suspiciously, wondering if in fact one of them was an agent of the dark side. Without warning, Luke slammed Kyle into a wall and pinned him against it, holding him by his collar.*

Luke: "You back off Kyle! You keep away from Mara! I don't want you NEAR her Kyle, if that's who you really are..."

Kyle: "I am Kyle, and why are you so edgy Luke? Trying to hide something? Like that you're really turned to the dark side?"

*Luke and Kyle ignited their lightsabers, ready to murder each other when Mara intervened.*

Mara: "Back off! Look at yourselfs, about to kill each other. Have you forgotten that we need each other, and that the Darkside wants us to be his servents? By killing each other, we only make his wish come true."

*Luke and Kyle slowly back away from each other, still feeling uneasy about their sudden anger at each other. They continue to go through the temple, not quite sure what they were hoping to accomplish.*

Sorry all you MOTS finatics. MOTS is ok, but only holds a few things JK dosent have. This IS going to be for Jedi Knight, i have already decided that. JK can be adapted to LOOk and FEEL like MOTS, if you put effort into it...

And i have no intentions of using anything from MOTS. this mod will not be illigal.

And i am capable of making key files myself, im not even sure what will be new, about the players, besides completely new More realistic looking 3do's. (They will work with the normal animations.)

i also have no intentions of using the original 3do's from either, most JK and mots 3do's are boxy, and LEC attempted to make it less obvious by a good job of texturing. Cogs will also be mostly new. Textures i will need help with.

Dash, dont bother getting MOTS just over this, i got it a long time ago, and after the few frills wore off, i just went back to JK.

ANd ive dont even bother distinguising between dark jedi and sith, to me, there the same thing. (DONT GIVE ME A DAMNED LECTURE about why there diffrent, because to be honest, i dont give a fu@k.)

Dash: that's OK, you haven't offended me, I should of made them more clear. The shadow beings are like the opposites of the skeleon warriors Ares introduced. Where as the skeleton warriors are slow and stupid yet strong like stormtroopers, the shadow beings are quick and fast but weak. And unlike the skeleton warriors who wield weapons, the shadow beings attack only with fists(possibly kick and grab if we can throw them in). They can not go inside the ysalimiri field for they are like fear incarnete(powered by the sith power of course), but can only be damaged by sabers or fists/kick.

Ares: First off, my cog-literate friend is almost finished with his grab cog, so the part about grabbing the skeletons would be feasable in the game. But I want to know if you'd like to have it in the level? Also, you say you want one of the jedi to die. I'm not an offical author or anything, but I've read about fanfic contest rules, and they usually say that you shouldn't kill off main characters like Luke(and for a good reason, because then you can't continue to write stories about them later on). Perhaps you plan to have some twist where it doesn't matter, I don't know. But if you had to kill off someone, I'd say Kyle, becuase he was introduced soley for the gaming series and killing him off would be the best. Of course, if your going for the "Alien" feel and WANT to kill off the main character, Luke IS very important...

And about the dark jedi vs. sith thing: Personally, I don't care, but according to my Encyclopidia(I got it for X-mas, I didn't ask, so I'm not a fanatic or anything) it says that dark jedi do exist. They were the group of jedi who served under the new emperor clone in the Dark Empire series. They were like the opposite of the jedi council, perverting the jedi code in a sense. sith are just an offical cult devoted to fighting against the ways of the jedi council. Just thought you'd like to hear the offical word.

Well, that's it. Let's write some more! I want to spring off on someone else's post.

(Ares: since we've put a lot in here about the jedi turning on eachother, I think the SP level should include a thing where if you kill the other jedi, you get major health, but you get a different ending(succumbing to the dark side). Something like that. And now back to the story.)

*Luke, Mara and Kyle looked down the warped hallway(it resembeled an upside-down cathedral) where in the darkness ahead they could see even darker sillouettes, the shadow beings.*

Mara: "I'm getting sick and tired of those things. I'm going to kill them all.*

*Mara rushed foreward, lightsaber ignited, but when she reached to where they should of been, the saber's light revealed only the emptiness.*

Mara: "Where did they go? (looks back at Luke and Kyle)You saw them, right?"

Luke: "Yes I did. At least...I thought I did."

Kyle: "Maybe it was another one of the temple's illusions; to throw us off. Or maybe we just imagined it."

Mara: "All of us? Maybe your-"

Luke: "Look out!"

*Mara spun frantically, seeing the shadow beings leap from all directions at her. They were clawing, punching, kicking and pulling her. It looked like darkness closing around her as she desperately tried to hack herself free with her saber. Luke and Kyle ran to her help, attemping to grab the shadow beings and pull them away from her. It was like trying to empty a flooding rowboat with a bucket for when they pulled the beings away, more were there. The shadow beings were starting to attack Luke and kyle also. Finally though, they all managed to ward off their attackers and kill them.*
*They quickly went down the hallway into a cavernous room. From above, a waterfall was flowing into a tunnel-like hole. The water itself seemed dark and murky, probably because of the mud-like walls. Kyle went to look closer at the waterfall.*

Kyle: (peering down at the the hole the waterfall went in)"Wonder why there is water in such a forsaken place like this? And I wonder where it goes?"

Mara: "Kyle, you're awefully close to it. You might fall."

*From out of the shadowy corners, a shadow being leapt out at Kyle. Kyle flailing his arms in panic, slipped and fell into the hole, dragging the shadow being with him. Luke and Mara ran to no avail.*

Luke and Mara: "Kyle!"

(level note: the hole that the waterfalls goes into acts like the slippery tunnel in JK MP CTF level "the challange at nar shadda"; the CTF level with the view of an imperial shuttle from the starting point before choosing a team. The tunnel/hole would be brownish to resemble mud/rock and would have water in it. It is up to all of you what happens to Kyle, if he sees anything important or not, if he just meets up with Luke and Mara shortly after, it doesn't matter. I just wanted a section with water in it, possible with new water bad guys. I'd like to see where this goes. If you need any more clarification on the hole or whatever, please say so.)

Kyle landed in a shallow, narrow, stream of water he was in a large room that streched on for what seemed miles with the stream running right down the center of the room. The room its self was made of a dark rock type od material
Kyle:Well...where there is watter there ALWAYSE is a way out and in. Since i cant find the way it somes IN i can only do OUT
then a shadow creature came out of a dark corner and lunged at Kyle. Kyle ignited his lightsaber. The greenish-White glow iluminated the room slightely and Kyle saw carving on the wall some may have been faces but kyle could not tell. but then the shadow creature was close and ready for combat. Kyle began a slow circle around the creature and lunged in. It Feinted(<-----Spell Error?) to the left and Kyles blade missid by bare inches then it lunged at kyle. Kyle spun in as fast a circle as he could in the opasite(<------Spell Error?) direction of the creature but he went all the way around and sliced it ih half judt before it hit him
then Kyle went walking down the stream looking for the exit. He saw one odd looking carving on the wall(to use in the level as the kind of Swich you see behind the statues on the jeric level) but he passed it.
After reaching the end of the tunnel he saw the watter going out a small crack in the floor so he looked and saw it went down another watterfall and out into the swamp! he Ingited his Lightsaber and shoved it through the wall. he slashed down with an unusual ese and he realized he did not hear the Lightsaber hum anymore so he kicked the wall and(of course) nothing happend so he turned around and walked back(the crack in the floor that the water falls out of is not big enough for a human)
When he saw the odd carving("Vally of the Jedi swich" as i call it)he pushed on it. He heard a grating sound the was rock sliding on rock and he turned around to see a door opend on the other side and he also saw two Skelaton Creatures there too. so he ignited his lightsaber once again and prepared for battle. Kyle moved in and before the first blows were traded the door crushed one of them but the other was out of the doorway and swung at kyle. Kyle jumped back and as the weapon missed him kyle lunged foreward for a stab but the stab went right in between two ribs! so he slashed sideways and down nearely seperating the beings torse from the legs it almost fell over but it threw its weapon at kyle before falling and crumpeling. Kyle lunged into the shallow stream barely escaping the hurteling blade. He then got up and pushed the swich again and the door opened. this time revealing four Shadow Creatures
Kyle:is there no end?
kyle waited to draw them out a little than he jumped through the door just as it was closing. None of the shadow beings were presend at the moment so Kyle got up and ran as fast as he could.

Dash: Ouch, my eyes! PLEASE watch your puncuation. You have some great ideas, but I had to read it over like 10 times to see where you would of put a period or capitalization. And about the hole/tunnel Kyle fell through: I had lots of trouble explaining it and don't blame you at all for getting it wrong. The entire hole/tunnel is slippery, so Kyle and teh being would slide to the very end of it. I call it a tunnel/hole because it doesn't go straight down, but twists left and right, sometime almosy going horizontal, like in the CTF level. I like the Jerec button thing, but you mentioned the swamp and I wasn't sure how deep into the temple they were suppose to be, are they far underground or not Ares? All of this is real trivial stuff, its real neat! What else will they meet? Leaves me hanging.

*Kyle continued to run as if his life depended on it, not looking behind. He finally reached to a huge underground lake, the water being dark and murky. Kyle hoped to go around it, but as he looked around, it seemed as if it stretched from wall to wall. The ceiling came down in areas above the lake, so he could not see where it ended. Kyle reluctantly dove into the water, diving below water when the ceiling came too low. Kyle could feel something brushing against his leg and made him jitter in the water. He found a small island in the lake and crawled on to it fearing that whatever had brushed him would of pulled him down into the dark water. Kyle sat there for a long time, pondering his situation.*

Kyle: //why does this temple pick on me? I haven't done anything wrong//

*The darkness swirled in front of Kyle, forming a tall body clad in flowing black robes, the Darkside.*

Darkside: "Of course you haven't done anything wrong. We want only to be your friends Kyle."

Kyle: "Luke and Mara are my friends. You just want me to convert and do your biddings."

Darkside: "If Luke and Mara are your friends, why haven't they come looking for you? It is because they know that would be a waste of time. They figured you'd join us just like you did at Dromund Kass. They know that it is your destiny Kyle, and you know it too."

Kyle: "You lie! Your trying to trick me!"//but maybe the darkside isn't. maybe it is the hard truth. the darkside was always there for me, it would be so easy just to give in. but..//

Kyle: "Go away!"

Darkside: "As you wish"

*And with that, the Darkside vanished just as it had appeared, leaving Kyle to struggle with his feeling. Meanwhile, Luke and Mara are attempting to think of a way to find Kyle. But they have troubles of their own...*

i can tell you dont keep up with the Star Wars books and book fans and stuff because everyone LOVES mara (Espicaly those people who think "There were not enough hero frmales in Star Wars" and stuff like that) but she is VERRY popular and i think you should kill kyle..that would be a large shock...and a bit of a twist (¦:-)

Yes, it probably will be kyle that dies, but whoever dies, i will decide myself. and i will write that section myself. Im not really even considering killing Mara or Luke.
And one reason im not gonna kill Mara: Guess said one reason Mara should die is because all of luks friends have died, and that is exactly my point, Luke has suffered enough.

And completly unreleated to the story, As a matter of fact, i have some trouble thinking of Luke and Mara as husband and wife, Luke is this good jedi, and Mara is a reformed sith, and assassin... I just cant see that, ah, maybe its just me....

Im also beggining to see ALOT in this story that will need adjusting and editing to work better and make more sense, Its getting a little bit tough to follow....

Since you're making it for Jedi Knight, good luck on getting good mat files for a sith looking place!

I guess the level doesn't all have to look blue like on MotS. Maybe you could make it all lava-like. Since red is a "hot" color, it would give good atmosphere, unlike the "cool" color blue used in MotS.

I'm glad SOMEBODY besides me thinks nobody should actually die. Most stories like Star Wars need the main characters alive, otherwise if they died, how could you continue further(other than prequels, which you can only do so many of)? Though if no one actually dies, I think it should look like Luke died(the big bad jedi appearing to be killed would damper the other 2's spirit. But with all this talk, I think Ares should leave us in suspense as to whether anyone WILL actually die. And could someone tell me how to italisize, bold, and underline my words in my replies? There don't appear to be options to let you do this, yet I've seen it done.(crowd screams "more story! more story!") I would write, but I wrote last and I can't think of anything to do with Kyle or Mara and Luke.

Mara and Luke look down the tunnel/hole in the floor
Luke:Kyle? can you hear us?
they wait for a few seconds
Mara:i guess its to deep
Luke:Yes
Mara:So what do we do? Continue going? Or wait here for Kyle
Luke:I dont know. Without access to the force there is no way i can find him. I feel blind
Mara:Yes.
Luke:Well i guess we should--
he was cut off by twelve skelaton creatures and twelve shadow creatures entering the room
Mara:Look out!!
They both ignite their lightsabers and the room is flooded in the light from the lightsabers.
Luke and mara both back against the far wall
Luke:Mara! keep them busy!. I have a plan!
luke ran foreward followed by Mara. Luke circled around behind the creatures but. Mara stayed on the other side and started swinging wildely at them. Luke finished his circle and was behind the creatures. He lunged at them and pushed four Skelaton creatures into the hole/tunell and got two Shadow Beings in there. He then swung at the creatures who still had their backs to him and wiped out two of each. And then as they turned around to face him mara finished three shadow beings and one skelaton creatures!. That left five Skelaton Creatures and five Shadow Beings. Then they got smart and were now fighting back to back
Luke had three shadow beings and two skelatons on his side to deal with. Luke lunged at them and deflected a swing from the left most Skelaton Creature and was almost him by the other one but he jumped sideways and managed to avoid being hit then he had his opening. As they had swung so hard their weapons were out to their sides. So luke jumped in dispaching them both in a single blow. Then it was onto the SHadow Beings wich he dispached with ease, for they had no weapons!
Then he had a clean shot at the ones attacking mara. She had already taken out all but one Skelaton and he decapitated it
Mara:Thanks
Luke:No Problem
Mara:Now what?
Luke:I have no idea...

Mara: "So what are we going to do about Kyle?"

Luke: "Kyle's a big boy. He can take care of himself."

*Mara gives Luke a questioning look, which with Luke gave no reply back. They entered a hallway that gave an appearance of an upside-down gothic cathedral. As the jedi pair were walking to the opposite end of the hallway, the floor gave way and they both fell through. They tumbled downwards, seeminglessly forever, wondering if they would ever get to the other side.*

*Kyle meanwhile sulked on the island in the middle of the lake, thinking of how much he hated himself when suddenly the ceiling gave way and two bodies fell from above into the water. Kyle identified them as Luke and Mara, who were now most certainly in danger of the water creature that almost had Kyle. Not thinking of himself, Kyle dove into the water to assist them to the small island he was just on.*

Kyle: "Are you two OK?"

Mara: "I think so, I think only my ego is hurt."

Luke: (now recognizing Kyle)"Kyle? I thought we'd gotten rid of you?"

Kyle: "Rid of? Is that all you can say?"

*The anger grew between each other.*

Luke: "Well, let's get moving."

Kyle: "We can't. There's some water creature in the water and it could kill us."

Mara: "Since when did you become afraid of water monsters? We've dealt with worse."

*Mara dives into the water, followed by Luke. Kyle hesitates before joining them. They reached a part where the ceiling hung low enough for them to have to keep underwater. Their sabers gave a faint light in the dark murkish waters. Then they saw the water monster come for them, its apperance resembling a deep-sea fish: skeletal-like with big pupils and think glowing skin. It came for Mara, she felt it brush up against her, sending a jolt of electricity through her. She swung her saber at teh monster: it looked like a slow motion fight. Mara eventually struck it down though and the three jedi reached the other end of the lake. Beyond them was the mouth of the tunnel that lead into darkness. They walked with hesitancy into the darkness.

Mara: "You can't do this! We've made it so far! We can beat this thing, I know it."

*The three jedi comfort each other in the darkness, supporting each other for the trials to come.*

Mara: We have to get going if we're going to be able to reach the bottom of the temple.

*the male Jedi get up and start to mope behind Mara, who is striding down the black nothingness. Suddenly, there's a muffled click and a sharp intake of breath from Mara*

Luke: Not again.

Kyle: Who know's what temptations wait for her? Where does that tunnel lead? Where?

*Kyle laspes back into hysteria and all Luke can do is stare into the darkness that engulfed Mara*

*Mara slides and slides and slides and is dropped abruptly onto her back and the edges of her vision are dotted by black spots for a second*

Mara: Wh-where am I?

*Looking around, Mara sees a room with a raised dais in the center and a moat of god-knows-what surrounding it. the walls are covered in ancient complex script that is hurtful to the eyes.

Lord Acrys: Welcome Mara

*The voice seems to come from nowhere yet she was surrounded by it. It exuded malevolence and was backed by malice and spite. A lean form appears before her. It pointed its hand at her and she was struck by the late emperor's voice "YOU WILL KILL LUKE SKYWALKER!"

Mara: Noooo!!!! I got rid of him! He's dead!! He's DEAD!

*Mara clapped her hands over her ears and began to rock as the figure moved closer...*

Lord Acrys: You really think your hands will stop the sound? You think you're really hearing it?

*Mara just kept rocking and rocking, back and forth, back and forth. Mara opened her eyes, there was no longer the room with the script, she was in an empty space, no light but still she could see. She looked up, and saw the twisted and evil face of the emperor.

Mara: No, no, you aren't here! You died on the Death Star!

Emperor: Did I? How do you know that? I'm right here with you! you can never get rid of me. EVER!

*Mara just screams, screaming the scream of a person on the edge, with a bare toehold on reality*

Mara: Face me, you coward! Come out! COME OUT!

*The plane dissolves around Mara, the face of the emperor gone, but the voice still echoing in her mind*

Lord Acrys: I still have plans for you. YOu won't be so lucky next time.

*Lord Acrys moves his hands in a way Mara does not understand. Mara is suddenly lifted off the floor and thrown to the wall. He hands and feet are restricted by metal straps , which are bolted to the wall.

*Far away, Luke and Kyle hear her screams.*

Kyle: Oh My God.

Luke: We have to find her. This cannot go on.

*Kyle and Luke ignite their lightsabers, and move cautiously down the corridor. The same complex script is written on the walls*

Kyle: What is this? Can you read it, Luke?

Luke: No, I've never seen anything like it before. It's not surprising though, The Sith were always very secretive.

Kyle: Yes. Wait! I sense something.

Luke: I feel it, too. It feels like a blanket covering my mind.

Kyle: We best be on our way, lest that thing, that darkness catches up to us.

*Kyle and Luke start a quick pace down the hallway, which degrades into an all-out run. They come to a Y-junction. Luke goes left and Kyle goes right. Kyle realizes what has happened only after the fear has subsided.*

Kyle: LUKE! Luke! Where are you?

*Luke, too, has realized this too late. He hears Kyle's voice.*

Luke: Kyle! I cna hear you, just stay there, I am coming!

*Back with Lord Acrys, Mara is still bound to the wall. She has struggled, but it only serves to let the metal bite into her flesh.*

Lord Acrys: You really think those bonds are physical? You really think you're in a room?

*Acrys laughs evilly. The room shifts, and Mara is bound to the ceiling. Her confusion at this just serves as more humor to Acrys. The laughing penetrates and reverberates inside Mara's skull, just like the emperor's voice*

Mara: Do what you want! You cannot break me! You will never break me.

*Mara's voice wavers on the last sentence. They both know this is a lie. Mara is becoming weaker and weaker. She is resisting less and less to the emperor's beckoning call.

Lord Acrys: I can feel your mind degrading like a building that needs to be torn down.

*Mara's cheek is brushed by a hand. She opens her eyes and see Lord Acrys. He is tall, and thin. His eyes are black, black as the abyss which threatens to swallow Mara's sanity, and her soul. There is no black cloak and cape typical of Sith lords. He is covered by a black body suit, covered in the same script. What is that writing? Does it help him? Mara wonders to herself. Acrys' nose is aquiline and his face is regal and a thin, sharp smile plays across his lips. Mara notices a black saber at his hip*

Mara: What kind of Sith are you?!?

Lord Acrys: You will soon find out.

*Lord Acrys once again spun and rattled the room around, jarring Mara into unconsciousness.*

And Ares, this story sounds like its almost getting to the end(any longer and I think it would be too long for a SP level), did you want to end it? (since you did say only you could end it) Though I think we need all three jedi to split up before the end, but that's just a suggestion.

*Mara came back out of the darkness of unconsciousness. The dark around the edges of her vision cleared out and Lord Acrys was standing nose-to-nose with her*

Lord Acrys: Pathetic jedi, you are no match for me. Killing you right now would be an act of mercy, to rid your foul presence from this plane

*Suddenly Mara saw. Saw the outer protection that pride was giving this man. Saw how the shield could be gotten through. 'There's always a weakness, no one's defense is impenetrable.' Mara thought to herself. This reminded her of a maneuver she had once done while in the service of the emperor. How she had let the persuing X-wing get a lock on her(with her shields dropped), then spiraling her ship behind it and watched while the hapless pilot could do nothing but die. 'Pride is what eventually kills a person.' it had always been that way, and always would be. Her plan formulated, she set it in action*

Mara: I'll never give into you! Never! You vile thing!

Acrys: Hah! Just like a candle. One violent flicker before it goes out. I've tortured and killed things made of harder mettle than you.

*Acrys flung Mara across the room, impacting hard against the wall. Again he launched her to the opposite wall. Mara's vision became blurred, and darkened, but she held on. So it went, Acrys flung her with the Force, slamming her against a wall, again and again. She heard a rib crack and then another. By the end of the siege, she counted 5 cracked ribs, and she thought her left arm was dislocated.

Acrys: Now, the hunter is victorious. The prey is weak and unable to flee. The final strike shall come soon, my dear.

*Mara edged away from the black figure. The figure walked forward, with a slow, persistent and tireless step. Out of nowhere, his hand turned into a long orange cylinder. It took a second for Mara's mind to realize that Acrys had unsheathed his saber. As she stared into the lightsaber and listened to its hum, her mind reveled. As she looked into the colour, she imagined that there actually was a Sith Hell. Not what she was in right now, but where Sith jedi went where they were gone or killed. The soul burning colour of Acrys' lightsaber, the eternal fires of the Sith Hell. It struck Mara as ironic, that Acrys had colored his lightsaber, which he had undoubtedly used to strike down many, the color that he would see after his death. Mara was prepared to let him see it. She let out a loud primal scream, lit her lightsaber, and charged toward him.*

*a handful of meters away, Luke and Kyle heard the scream.*

Luke: Oh my god, Mara!

Kyle: It came from over there.

*Pointing down a corridor, Luke and Kyle raced down the hall, and heard lightsabers crashing together, as if in heated battle...*

*Mara lunged at Lord Acrys, who calmly brought his lightsaber up to block. He Force-pushed her back to the wall, and cast aside his robes. Mara was not suprised as to the garments revealed underneath. It was a basic sith garb, except with those sigils all over it. Lord Acrys was a human, and the sigils that were on his clothes seemed to continue unabated onto his skin. He was simply covered with sigils. He put his hands out, clasped them together, one pointing up, the other pointing down. The sigils along his body seemed to glow, in synchronous order, in pulses up and down his body. They all seemed to lead into his arms and lightning lept between his hands and a bolt lept toward Mara. She brought her lightsaber up to block the bolt, struggled with it, and finally diffused the bolt. She took off toward him then was hit by an invisible fist, knocking her to her feet and cracking another pair of ribs. She got up, breathing raggedly. Nothing would stop her, nothing. She rushed toward him, yelled, screamed, at the point of insanity, ignoring the invisible fist that struck her again. She finally let go and pushed the lightsaber down. Acrys grunted, eyes wide, then the parts of him slide apart. She hears a sharp intake of breath behind her, whips around, and sees luke and Kyle standing behind her.

Luke: My God! Mara! Are you all right?

Mara, sighing: Yeah, I think my arm is dislocated. Maybe a few broken or cracked ribs.

Kyle: It's ok, Luke and I will focus our Force as best we can and heal you. Then we can move on to the center and extinguish the evil here.

*Mara, Luke, and Kyle sit together and heal. Only after Mara has completely healed do they move on. Mara wonders if Acrys is in his hell , The Sith hell.

*The three jedi continue on through the dark temple. Their paths only seemed to get darker as they went on, both physically and mentally. For quite some time the trio's only problems were cotemplating which way to go, left, right, straight, or just turn back. They also had the time to ponder the darkest parts of themselves, the silence borring into their minds, their souls. Several times they thought the dark eyes of fear were watching them, but they were never certain enough as to stop and look. Luke, Mara, and Kyle were very involved in struggling with their own sanity, which is why they were caught completely off guard when the chaos arose. They were surrounded by skeletal warriors and flying skulls. Not only were the jedi facing the task of surviving the onslaught of their attacks, but also whether they would want to go onward for they feared the shadow beings would attack them from nowhere. The whole situation was pandemonuim and the three were not thinking very straight.*

Mara: "Watch out-behind you-"
Luke: "Stay together-we can't be seperated-"
Kyle: "Duck-"
Luke: "No-don't go there-"
Mara: "Help me! I'm-"

*The fight continued on, with all three screaming to be heard, but their voices grew quieter as they fought on. The three jedi now found themselves free from their attackers, but were now faced with a bigger problem: each was alone and could not find either of the other two. They were now prey and could not have the support of the others to keep them from sucumbing. The sticks that were once together in a bundle were now seperated, more liable than ever to snap from the hands of the Darkside.

Mara: "Luke? Kyle? Where are you?"

*Her voice echos off with no reply. She decided that it was of no use to sit around to be picked off by whatever danger lurked about, so she walked on. She didn't know where she was going, she could only feel a growing darkness, which she used as a compass to guide her. What she would do when she got there was still a mystery, but she couldn't go back knowing that such evil could threaten the universe she knew of. She would have to hope that Luke and Kyle could help her.

Luke: "Mara! Kyle! I knew this would happen, how could I let myself do this?"

Voice: "There was nothing you could do about it, they were weak."

Luke: "I remember you, whatever you are. Stay away from me."

*The shadows around Luke spiraled in front of him to form a figure clad in flowing black robes, his hood hiding his head. The Darkside had returned to tempt Luke again.*

Darkside: "We are only here for your needs Luke, to be your loyal ally. We were there when you needed us before, and we are here again. Join us, and you will previal."

Luke: "Never. I've learned what it means to wield such power that you offer and who it hurts."

Darkside: "Yet your still here. And what do you hope to accomplish? Do you really think you can defeat us? You must know that good can not exist without evil, just as light can not exist without darkness. But you may have a chance. Use your true power and complete your destiny."

*Before Luke can respond, the cloaked figure disappears in front of his eyes, leaving him with many more thoughts to ponder.*

Kyle: "Luke! Mara! I can't believe this happened again. Maybe I should just give up."

Voice: "Don't give up. You can still take advantage of the situation."

*The cloaked figure that appeared before Luke was also in front of Kyle Katarn. Kyle knew what this figure represented, but he was desperate, and desperate situations called for desperate measures. Besides, he had dealt with the Dark side before, and he knew how to control it. He would not make the same mistake again.*

Kyle: "How?"

*Though you couldn't see the figure's face, a smile formed under the hood.*

*Mara was gripped with fear as she continued alone down into what she felt was the heart of the wretched temple. The fear of things lurking in every shadow was almost unbearable, the place made her loose almost all rational thought. She had to keep reminding herself that the walls possibly couldn't come down on her or that the shadows themselves could swallow her whole. But she had seen a lot since coming here, things that defied all scientific reasoning and stretched even what she thought was possible through the Force. It was as if ever dark and evil thought she ever had, and didn't have, came to reality in the temple to threated her. She darted her head left to right, her shoulders were higher and her knees bent more than usual, all as if she had turned into an animal, prey to something mightier.*

*She had come across a pile of human bones on the ground, teh sockets of the skull staring right at her as if to say "It's your fault I'm dead". Mara looked at it intently, then began to charge at it.*

Mara: "You're not going to get me! I'll get you before you can sneak up on me!"

*Paranoia flooded over Mara as she continued to run towards the bones, fearing that it would rise to strike her. She brought down her lightsaber on the bones several times in quick swings. She was breathing hard as she finally stopped the onslaught on the still pieces that were left. She realized how silly she was acting and continued to draw closer to the dark presence she felt. But she couldn't help feeling that the shadows had eyes and the walls had ears and that both could sense the dark half of herself.*

*Meanwhile, Luke was also using the dark presence as a focal point to journey to but his mind was on things that did not concern the present, but what layed ahead. He felt depressed about the whole futility of the situation he was in. As much as he wanted to disagree with the cloaked figure, he knew that what was said was true, he could never hope to single-handedly defeat evil, only a higher power could do such a thing. Perhaps he could fall to the dark side, maybe the Darkside would use him as a host, and hope that ,by having Mara and Kyle strike him down, the evil would be purged.--

*Suddenly Mara saw a light ahead.

Mara: At last!! This may be the exit......

*Mara ran forward, and suddenly hit into a wall. There was darkness everywhere.

Mara: Oh no!!!!!!! Another trick!!!!!!!!!

*Mara lay there, and heard evil laughter (<-- SPELLED WRONG?)coming from all over. After a few seconds she leaped up and screamed, 'GO AWAY!!!!!!' She grabbed her lightsaber and slashed blindly at the walls. Finally she dropped the lightsaber.

Mara: Why should I resist?!?!? I can't do anything alone.

*Out of the cracks she had cut in the wall, a Ysalmiri (<-- SPELLED WRONG?) came and used force healing on itself. Before Mara realized the very important thing that had happen it was gone. Then Mara saw that it had used a light side force power!!!

Mara: How did it do that??? How did it use a light side power?

*Mara suddenly got up.

Mara: I'll keep on going.

*Kyle stood in the presence of Darkside, contemplating what he could do to fool this being of deceit and hatred.*

Kyle: Alright, whatever you are, let's make a deal. You and I contend in a fair fight. If I win, I can continue through these halls without fear of attack until I rejoin with my friends. If you win, I'll join your side. Do we have a deal?

Darkside: It shall be so. And in order to make the fight ever more fair... We shall become your equal!

*Darkside's body is engulfed in a black flame. Through the flame, Kyle observes a metamorphosis, through which Darkside becomes an exact copy of Kyle.*

Darkside: Now, Katarn, draw your weapon that we may begin our deul with you.

*Kyle draws his saber, lights it, and takes a defensive stance. Darkside draws and lights his saber as well. Darkside's saber is blacker than the darkness and semi-transparent. As he swings it, etherial glows reside in the air.*

Darkside: Now, it begins!

*The two square off. Darkside comes at Kyle with several quick swings, which Kyle manages to block. He brings his saber around and slashes at Darkside's legs, who merely jumps over the weapon.*

Darkside: You'll have to do better than that to defeat us.

Kyle: I'm only getting warmed up.

*Kyle moves in with several vertical slices, but realizes that the taxing atmosphere of the temple has weakened his reflexes and judgement. Darkside, realizing his foe's weakness, continues to play with his prey, blocking, thrusting, slashing, taunting.*

Kyle (to himself): I musn't let him wear me down. He has the home field advantage, I must prevail!

Darkside: We admire your persistance, but we grow weary of battle, as you must grow weary of movement.

*Kyle, now pinned in a corner, resorts to one last ditch attempt at defeating the powerful foe. He jumps straight at the wall, springs his legs off of it, flips over Darkside, and brings down his saber with all his might. Unfortunately for Kyle, Darkside blocks this blow, and punches him in the face.*

Darkside: Now, succumb to our power!

*Darkside thrusts his saber the full length into Kyle's chest. To Kyle's surprise, he feels no pain. The saber itself does not penetrate his back, only his chest. He feels a sudden wave of darkness flow over him as he watches in horror the image of Darkside melding into the saber, and into his body. He feels the sudden sensation of burning flesh, as he watches the hilt fuse into his chest. He had lost.*

Kyle (with posessed voice): Now we are one. Your destiny has been fulfilled. You are with us. Now watch, as we show you how easy it is to dispatch our common foe.

*Kyle had fallen to the darkness. His mind was controlled by all that he despised, which only strengthened the controller. As he held on to what little humanity was left in his soul, he realized that he was dead to the light side.*

Luke walked forward, slower and slower, and thinking about what Darkside has said. 'If I can find Kyle or Mara, maybe I can do something....' said Luke quietly, 'Where are they?'

Voice: 'Kyle has joined us, and Mara is dead.'

Luke: 'No, you've said that before!!!!'

Voice: 'It's true.'

Luke ran forward, and at that second the wall exploded into pieces.

Out of the hole in the wall stood Darkside.

Luke: 'Go away!!'

Darkside: 'Join us.......'

Luke: 'No!!! Where are Kyle and Mara?!?!'

Darkside: 'I told you. Mara is dead, and Kyle joined us.'

Darkside disappeared. Luke ran forward into a giant room, with pillars. At the end was a throne. In it sat Kyle.

Kyle (possessed): 'Join us, or die!!'

Luke just stood there, staring at Kyle. Kyle grabbed his lightsaber, ignited it, and slowly walked forward. Luke slowly reached for his lightsaber and thought, 'Should I join Darkside, or fight Kyle?'

*Meanwhile, Mara had been hunting for the ysalimiri like a wild predator. After what seemed like an excrutiating long time to her, she finally spotted the ysalimiri again. As soon as she saw it, she stiffened completely still and slowly lowered herself to the ground until she looked like she was in a stance similar to foot racers before the race starts. With eyes unblinking, she stared at it until she thought would be the perfect time....and with all her speed she dashed at the ysalimiri. Before it could move away, Mara held a firm grasp around it.*

Mara: "Gotcha!"

*Before she could realize what was wrong with teh situation, the ysalimiri faced Mara and emitted a high screech, followed by blue electricity flowing over it. Mara dropped to the ground, writhing in pain as the ysalimiri wiggles out of Mara's grasp and makes a fleeting attempt at escape.*

Mara: "Oh no you don't"

*Mara, still on hte floor, lurched her whole body on top of the ysalimiri. The electricity came again, but Mara had been through worse and this particular ysalimiri did not seem to want to put up a long fight. Mara felt proud of herself for capturing it, but now that she thought about it, wasn't quite sure what she was going to do with it. Out of the corner of her eye she could make out flashing lights down a corrider, the kind made by colliding lightsabers. She decided to make her way down there with the ysalimiri in hand.*

How fitting..... The perfect setup for a final battle.... the perfect timing, and now, the perfect author to finish it.

Luke and kyles sabers clashed, in one incredible battle. Luke belized this was just another ploy by Darkside.

Mara suddenly entered, from a adjoining hallway. She ignighted her saber and ran at what she thought was darkside. She ran into the area with the ysalimari, assuming the illusion would dissapear.

Kyle: "ha... ha... ha... FOOLS! I am the darkside. Your pitiful ysalimari will not save you!" with that, Kyle swung his saber, removing the ysalimari and Maras left hand, that she was holding it in. She screamed in pain, and dropped the saber. The ysalimari scurried away.

Mara thought as she saw the ysalimari leave, that not even IT was strong enough to defeat the combined dark side....

However, the ysalimari had weakened kyles darkside, temporarily. in that brief ammount of time, Kyle realized the awnser to how they could win.... He rembered what Yoda had said: '...Anger, fear, agression, the darkside are they......' Kyle new the awnser. He sensed a infinite amound of fear, anger and agression here.... He counteracted. Darkside had made the ultimate mistake. He had put the collective powers of the darkside into one individual. One individual, that was never meant to be a Sith. Kyle had been afraid, angry, and wanting to defeat the darkside. This was not the way to win. He used the remaining accecc he had to his mind and the Force to clear his mind of anger fear, and everything the darkside was. He embraced the concepts of the lightside. It was not the lightside that was needed to win, it was what it stood for...

Darkside could not take this. It had linked itself to Kyle and could therfore not leave. Now kyle was darkside with his mind. Darkside lost control.... Kyle lost control....

Luke was not sure what to do. Kyle seemed to be fighting, what Luke was not sure...

Suddenly the temple started to rumble... Pieces of the centuries old ceiling came crashing to the ground. the temple was colapsing. The darkside had lost.

Mara: "Luke.... whats... whats going on?"

Luke: "The darkside..... is dying it would seem.....

Mara: "we have to get out of here...."

Luke: "We have to take Kyle..." Luke begins dragging kyle....

Kyle (strained, weak voice) : "No... leave me..."

Mara: "we have to save you kyle...."

Kyle (strained, weak voice) : "You.... already... have. Leave.. me.. i am dying... I defeated.... it..."

Luke dosent need to hear the rest of kyle's unfinished sentince to know, what kyle said.

Luke: "C'mon... we have to get out of here.."

They both run out, luke and marastopp at the room exits, and look back at kyle....

Kyle (strained, weak voice) : "Leave... the planet is going to go supernova.... I must remain...... Goodby..."

Luke and mara look back one last time. Then run at top speed back to the ship.

*scene cuts to both in ship about to take off with planet shaking viloently...*

Mara to Luke (while both hitting buttons) : "Better hope the ships working or this is going to be a real short trip..."

*Scene cuts to outside view of ship taking off with groung colapsing underneath....*

*Scene cuts to space view of ship and colapsing planet in backround.*

Ship jumps to Lightspeed just as the planet goes supernova, creating a spepherecal blue shockwave.

*Scene cuts to a New Republic gathering to celebrate, Luke and Maras return.*

Solo to Luke: "...Theres nothing you could of done...."

Luke to Solo: "Yeah i know..."

Solo: "Hes not REALLY gone you know... As long as we rember him..."

Luke looks over at a ghostly blue glowing Kyle... (Like the final scene from ROTJ were luke sees The ghostly blue images of Obi-Wan, Yoda, and Anakin.

*Cut to credits*
