This is gonna be over a few posts so bare with me.

Presenting: Doug - Behind The Scenes, a storybook for all ages, complete with illustrations!



Skeeter was never a huge fan of Doug. When the Nickelodeon cameras weren't around, the real Doug came out of the woodwork.

Nobody liked the real Doug.

The nightmares used to keep Skeet awake all hours, a momentary lapse into sleep would end with him waking in a cold sweat. Screaming.

Skeeter didn't sleep for 20 years.

Skeeter wasn't the only person haunted by Doug. Doug had many hobbies.

By age 16 Patti Mayonnaise had four children and full blown heroin addiction.

Millions tuned in each week to watch "Doug".

As well as violence and sex, Doug also loved threats and manipulation. Nobody ever knew if his threats would ever happen with non-compliance, nobody ever risked it.

You may have heard the phrase "the camera never lies" before.

Doug knew better.

The show ended, Doug became a fading star. Life was not kind, turning to crime was not always the wisest decision he made.

Nobody knew the name of Doug anymore.
