How do you get notified just before a thing is destoryed? For example if I set the camera to a projectile I need to change camera just before it's destoryed.

ummm.. you really can't be alerted until the second it is destroyed.

Set the camera back at the player under a cog attached to the projectile. You know about the pulse: and activated: messages and such? Put it under

I tried placing that in weap_raildet.cog and nothing ever happened. Did I place it in the wrong cog?

Hmm... what you could do is set a pulse of .01 or something like that, have it pulse the distance to the closest player/enemy, and when it passes a certain point disable the camera (or do something else).

try firing a ghost projectile and having it follow the original projectile, and switch the camera to the ghost.

EAH_Scorpion made a cog like that for me a while ago. You could ask him how he did it.
