I have two questions about vectors; one about the Conveyor cog vector...

1. How is a vector written and what is a vector?

2. What is the purpose of the vector in the conveyor cog and what vector would I fill the cog value in for?

A vector defines in which direction the conveyor (or thrust, or other things that use a vector) will go. Vectors are rather difficult to calculate. I suggest you use Vector Calculator. It is a program that will easily calculate your vectors for you. Just place a thing where you want it to start, and another thing in the direction you want your vector. Multi-select them (making sure to select the starting point first) and then go into vec calc and calculate the vector. Copy and paste the info into your cog. If you have any problems, just come back and ask.
