How do i make it so that a stormtrooper attacks an enemy, and after the enemy is finished, have the stormtrooper return to his previous orders instead of him shooting the player? I tried using the aiturncoat and 00m_friendlyattacker, the stormtrooper first attacks the enemy, then when the enemy is dead, he turns his gun on me! Is there a cog to get him to just return to what his orders were before he attacked the enemy?

I think that's all I need to know for now.

I think theres a tutorial here at massassi that talks about friendly actors. Maybe that may be able to help you.

i read it, it works, but it follows me around, i want it to be doing normal stuff, you know, like patrolling, and then if it "sees" an enemy, like a rebel, i want the stormtrooper to help kill it, then return to his duty (patrolling).

oh, wait, i got a good idea on using the cog! it's that max cog, i just need to extract it from jedi knight, and put it in the project directory, and open it up with mots! I'm going to have a trooper or 2 follow the player around, and help destroy the enemy! I'll also have some that just patrol an area, or make it look like they're patrolling, and it'll be pretty cool!

oh man,

It worked, but everybody attacks eachother!!! It's annoying though, the friendly actors attack eachother! Is there a way to prevent this from happening? I know it can be done, 'cause the rebel commandos in the first elvel of mots don't attack eachother! I guess i'll keep trying to get it to work.

If anybody knows how to get the actors designated "friendly" to be nice to eachother, let me know!

The reason in MOTS that the Rebels attacked only the StormTroopers is because of the extra command added to AI files in MOTS.

LookForOppositingTarget

Arguments are:
1: Interval for look (msec)
2: Time to sleep before check again (msec)

(used JKSpecs for Arguments)
