Adding a new gun's powerup
2001-04-02, 1:15 PM #1
OK, I wan't to add a new gun to JK that will have a powerup in levels and when it's pulled from someone.

So, I need a cog that will change a powerup to my new gun.

And then I need to know how to modify kyle.cog so the gun can be pulled.

I think that's what I need to add the gun, but if there's anything else, please tell me how to do it.

Try making a 'yourweaponname'p.3do and put it in the templates (static.jkl)
P at the end for powerup,
v for the external (I think...)
g for the internal (" ")
Hey, I'm here! But who cares?

Sorry, for taking so long to reply, but my connection was down for a few days.

==============

I have 3dos and everything; I want this gun not to replace any existing weapon but still show up in levels(as powerups) and be able to be pulled from a player.

So, I need to replace an existing powerup in a level. It has to be done with cog so I can have the powerup for an original gun and my new one randomly appear.

To get this gun to be pullable, I'll have to modify kyle.cog. But how to do it?

Thankyou [http://forums.massassi.net/html/wink.gif]
