You know how you have to make a trigger cog for new projectiles to show up in multiplayer? Well what about new particles. Like if I changed the particle template on deadly sight, would I need to make a trigger cog for it to show up in multiplayer... How?

ALL templates that are generated from the static.jkl need to use a trigger for them to appear. That includes particles as well. Just use the same method you used for the projectiles to get custom particles to appear.
