Is it possible to choose the respawn point for a player? I would like it if they entered a certain sector for them to respawn in that sector after dieing instead of a random point. I'm looking for a whole cog but just how to set where they respawn.

Hmm why not let them respawn whereever and then teleport him to whereever you want em?

Yeh, I've thought of this before for a team type game, but the only way I could figure it out is all the walkplayers start in a sector separate from the majority of the level, and they pick which team to be by going in a teleporter, which brings them to their side of the level. Though every time they respawn they could switch teams, but hey, in MP games, usually you can trade teams...

ctf_respawn.cog does exactly what you're thinking of. Once the player joins a team (by entering a sector) they only respawn on that team's side. It uses respawn masks to control where they are placed.

You'll have to look at it, and adjust ctf_main.cog to suit your needs.
