How do I make it so If you press a key a random wave file would play so anyone in a certain range could hear it.

in the symbols section define the sound like in
sound1 = blah.wav
sound2 = ug.wav

then use the random verb to get a random number in the range of your number of sounds, assign it to a variable and then use the playsound command and put the following as sound file to play:
sound[randomnumber]

If that's too abstract for you, someone around here will probably be able to come up with a complete cog and I would do it right now but I am too tired, hope that helps for now.
