I'm destroying the actor in the killed message of it's template cog. But one in three times, JK crashes. It's not because it was already destroyed and the template is fine. So I'm wondering, is destroything() unstable with actors?

No, the "thing" that you destroy probably is not right and you're destroying the "player" thing. As I guess.

DestroyThing() does work 2 out of 3 times and everything else in those messages works fine. As a temporary fix, I'm changing the actor's model and setting his collidesize to zero. And that works well.
