There is four force field at the bottom that stays on untill the elevator is at frame 0 then they turn off so the player can enter and exit the elevator. When the player enter the elevator,

it pause a bit before turning on the force field and starting heading up. when its at frame 1, it pauses for a bit for the four doors at top to open. Between the four door is a forcefield

that isn't transparent and don't render beyond adjoun to help with detail hom, then right below frame 1 is another forcefield that isn't transparent and don't render beyond adjoun to help

get rid of detail hom.

okay when the elevator is at frame 1, the forcefield between the door turn off and the forcefield below the elevator turns on and the door opens, then the elevator go to frame 2. then after

waiting a bit it heads back to frame 1, mean while the top four door is closeing, and when theyre closed the door forcefield turns on,when the elevator reaches frame 1 the forcefield below

it turns off and then the elevator go to frame 0. when it hit frame 0 the four forcefield turns off. At the top there is four button to call the elevator to the top.

I need help with this cog its for mp, so it needs to be an c/s and i have no clue how to do c/s cog at all [http://forums.massassi.net/html/frown.gif] so can some one help me??


I have like virtualy zero cog knowledge, i can modify cog but i don't know how to do ^^^

I have an idea. What if you made a door 3do that had force field textures, flagged as transparent, and just used those doors for it instead of making a buncha force fields? If you make the movespeed for the door in the cog really high, it will just look like it activates and deactivates instead of moving.

nope that wouldn't work, i put the force field between the door to help keep the lag down and hom down, that's the only reason why the 4 doors has force field between them at all.


hmm maybe my describition wasn't clear egough here's a repost of the requirement.


Iwishi Wazihero: okay, there is four doors at the top of the elevator shaft, and a force field between it, that is non transparent and all that stuff to cut down the lag and hom, cause i got some detailed area, then there is three frames for the elevator, frame 0 which is the ground floor, frame 1 is when it is waiting for the top 4 doors to open, *btw theyre kind of an iris like doors that's why its 4 doors* and frame 2 is the top where it unloads the player, okay the elevator is by default at frame 0, and the four force field surrounding the elevator to keep players from falling into the shaft while the elevator is going up or comeing down, okay the player just walk in then after a little delay the 4 force field actives and then the elevator go up to frame 1, okay when it hit frame 1 it waits for the 4 doors above it to open, while its waiting, an hiden forcefield that no one will ever see actives below the door to help keep down lag, the top forcefield with the door deactives and the door open, then elevator go to frame 2, wait a bit to unload then head right down, to frame 1 and wait for the door to close, when the door closes the forcefield inside them actives, and the one below the elevator deactives, and the elevator go to frame 0 (ground level) when it stop the 4 force field around it, (the doorway into the elevator i mean, its kind of unclear, okay there is 4 hall way to get in the elevator anway they actives when the elevator is in motion or any where other than frame 0, anway the elevator hit frame 0 and then the 4 force field turn off, that's it, no button anywhere, only button is one button at the top which is the call button to call it up to top
