How can I make these face me all the time?

Go to the tutorials section and open the advanced lighting tutorial by Jon 'C. He has a cog (corona.cog) that makes a 3do always face the player. Just use that.

Creepy! It worked, but now I need some modifications. I need a slithery vine noise, and the sound only plays when they turn.

Actually, you don't want that. Jump over the vine plant and see what happens. Notice how he sorta uproots himself? Well that's because it's setting the look vec on all angles. Replace the SetThingLook(corona, playervec); type statment with SetThingLook(corona, VectorSet(0, 0, VectorZ(PlayerVec)); This should make it so it only changes the look vec horizontally.

Errr.... no. It didn't work. They just dissapeared, I mean they dont show up ingame.
