Weapon/Grapple COG

Hey gang, pay attention so you can understand what I want. I need a weapons cog for the rail gun. But when you use the second fire mode, I want the gun to shoot the rail, and when the rail hits a target or surface, it acts like a grappling hook and doesn't blow up. Can someone send me a cog that will do this. I'd much appreciate it.

I doubt anyone is going to make it for you. You should download one of the grapple mods and see how it works. And then if you have a problem, post it here and we'll help you.

I did work with a grapple cog, but I couldn't make it do what I wanted it to do. The only thing it was doing was shooting a grappling rail for both firing options instead of it grappling for the second fire option and blowing up for the first fire option.

In the activated message of the raildet cog, GetSenderRef() will be 1 for secondary fire and 0 for primary fire. So if GetSenderRef() is 1, fire the grappling hook, or if it's zero, activate the weapon and let the rail fire.

If you can't do that, post the grappling cog, and I'll fix it up for you.
