I was trying to make another melee weapon by taking the saber cog and replacing the pov and mesh 3dos with the new ones, and renaming the cog. I've gotten it to work before, but now the new weapon comes up fine, but as soon as I swing it, it changes to the origional lightsaber. Does anyone know what I need to change in the saber cog (or possibly in kyle_m.cog) to fix this?

Most likely you forgot to change the Setcurweapon() verb to reflect it being in a different slot. The effect you describe has usually been caused by that in my experience.

Thanks alot for the input. I'll have to look into changing that parameter. One thing that really gets me, though, is that it worked fine with both weapons for a while and then I was substituting sounds in the cog and the problem started up. Thanks again.
