Has anyone every played Jedi Power Battles for the PSX and DC ? I'm trying to make a JPB-inspired SP mod for JK and would need a little help in the cog departement. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif]

It's called Showdown my main man, Showdown. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif]

Hrmmm, ya know, I could release the "2d/3d side scroller fighter" cog I did for him. (many thanks to Rishka for the basics of it) I'll ask him if that's ok, more than likely he'll want to wait untill after the release of Showdown......

All you would have to do then is just make characters, moves, weapons, combo sequences and the lot.......

[edit]Just re-read your post, and you said SP, I dunno, I guess you could modify Rbots to work with it......[/edit]

Well, if you made a level that was set up to side scroll, it wouldn't be that hard to set up the camera to follow, though it wouldn't be exactly the same as JPB. Juztyn used to have this cool cog that used AttachThingToThing() to keep the camera on the player. It rocked. Add some frames to that idea, and you're set.

Actually I was think of keeping it in saber-cam.. But modify it to be a little furter away back and up.

Of course, an AttachThingToThing and a few well places frames and it would rock too. I dunno really. I think Jk lends itself more easily to a fixed 3rd person view than a floating pov. In any case... Anyone here that can cog me or reference me to come cogs that could help me understand the basics of camera control. As of now, the only thing I was able to do was set the camera in saber-3rd-person and its not what I want [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif]
