Okay, i just couldn't think up a good subject line. I kind of want to start cogging. (no im not going to ask where to get started.) But i'm trying to make a mirror. My idea is to put a wall with glass between two identical sectors. One of the sectors, the one where the player is, has a sector as wide and as tall as the glass texture in front of the glass. When the player enters the sector, an actor or 3do or something is created on the other side of the glass.
Now, my question is, i'm not quite sure what to do with the cog. Mostly, how would i get it to create the whatever is should be and how do i get it to match the player's model? Any help will be appreciated. (yep, that's kind of old. needs retooling)

This has been proposed before. You'd have to make a "mirror model" of the player, and "mirror keyframes" Then you'd have to run a cog that would mimic the player, which all in all, is just too much work to achieve so little....

...In other words, weve been Cogging for years, and WE wont even do it. It would be that much harder for you, someone who doesnt even know COG.

Its good that you want to learn COG, but start out small. If you jump into something like this, itll scare the heck out of you, and youll quit.
