No, it's going to use the Quake III engine. QIII doesn't use cogs...

Correct.. Q3 used straight c++ coding, but Raven created ICARUS (scripting language) for Elite Force, so who knows. We can only hope it'll be editable (there's always a chance it won't be).

LucasArts has the final say on whether the game is editable or not. Jedi Knight had an editor too (LEIA), but it wasn't (supposed to be) editable.

It's about cog, not so wrong forum.
I heard it'll use something similar to C++.

It's going to be coded in C++, which, in my opinion, is far better than cog because it gives the modder as much power as the original programmer.

Please, please, please, don't let there be a severely limited language like cog. I hoping for C++...

Yes, it's C++, at least it is for every other Q3A powered game. With Elite Force, I think ICARUS is for in-game stuff, ex. cutscenes, puzzles, etc.
