There seems to be some problems with the Body-Piercing Projectiles... I'm trying to design a Rail Spike weapon for my Dangerous Weapons Pack, But i cant seem to get it to work right... I have some ideas on how to fix it though, I was wondering if anybody had any thoughts on the topic:

1) When a new projectile is created, dont let it replicate for .01 or so seconds, so that it does'nt constantly create more when it hits a wall...

The problem with the first one would be that the projectile would hit, create a new one, and die when it hits again, But i think i can fix that....

2) When a new projectile is created, make it un-collidable for .01 seconds or so, so that it can still pass through the target.... Does anybody know if thats possible though? If so, how do you make it not collidable? And if you do.... Is it going to punch through a wall?

Not sure about that one.. Dont want it going through walls. If anybody ever got a good body-piercing weapon to work, Let me know though, I cant seem to get the tutorial working... I'm crap with tutorials i guess. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/wink.gif]

You could take the fleshhit explosion out of the template and control the explosion through cog. In the touched message, you can decide whether you want the projectile to explode or keep going.

That type system worked fine for my slow moving missiles, but you might want to set the proj's collide to zero so the proj doesn't slow down.
