Hehe... you can't use the image tag with an html file. You have to get the address for the .jpg itself. Here - I'll post it for you.

I suggest you read the "Easy Sprites" tutorial Massassi has. As for the cog, I'm not sure what he did. He may have used a cog to make them move or something.

He likely just used flat 3dos and had them set to always face the player in the code. Effectively it'd be a sprite.
