In a level I am making, I need a player. I am planning on putting a long coat on this charactor. I am trying to make this level as real as possible, right down to wind blowing his coat. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas about how I could make his coat blow ONLY when he's running.

The only way to do this is to do it using key frames... and to edit the kyle running animation.

easy...just make seperate meshes for the coat and animate them via keyframe.

it would only take a few, it would definatly look like JK though, because you cant deform meshes
