Setthinglook to waist bending

I am using an adapted version of Hell_Raiser's lockon cog from the leaked TDiR beta with permission.

So far, it uses the setthinglook command to make the player look at the target actor/player.

I like this, it works great, it's all well and good, but I am curious:

Is there any way that I can make them look by bending at the waist, as if I'd turned the mouse up, as opposed to tilting the entire player to look at the victim?

If so, how? I would really like to know how I could do this. It would really be appreciated.

No, there's not a good way to set the headpitch. AISetLookPos() does what you want, but it's for AI. You could make the player invisible and attach an actor to him that uses the same model.

I thought Hell Raiser had done that already for TDIR.

Um.. thanks.

I told you, I was using the TDiR lockon cog with permission.

So far, it just uses SetThingLook.
