Ok, i wrote a cog so that when a surface is stepped on, a ship will take off. It doesnt work though. JK crashes right away. I've looked over the cog many times, and im convinced nothing is wrong with it. Could it be that the key file causes the ship to go too far, and leave the sector that its in, and this causes the game to freak out?

Objects can leave the world, that wont ause the game to crash.


Post the cog. Things off the top of my head that can make the game crash..

-Destroything the player. IE, an invalid reference in a 'Destroything()' command.

-Addressing surfaces that dont exist. Invalid references in 'Setsurfacecel' or the like, can crash the game.

I figured it out. Stupid mistake in the cog. Wow, that makes me fell leik a geneus.
