Many many bug fixes, new features, revisions, etc.

Just for you, HellRaiser! [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif]

A slightly revamped symbol builder..

The new 'Find / replace' dialog...

The new hex calc...

..And, of course, Teh SelecOr. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif]
...It lists all the flags. You can choose which flags you want, hit 'add', and out pops the result (in hex or dec, you pick)

I totally rewrote the file handling code, and it can now open files on load (file associations). Anyone who wants to lend a hand in drag & drop, drop me an email. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif]

Oh, yeah, Ill have the new beta uploaded once its compiled.

Looking good so far. I just downloaded.

Maybe make it ask if you want to save checnges when you go to close the program.

It will, you just have to enable it. Help > Caution.

This is looking very good. But what I meant by the message drop down menu, is like in VB. You can jump to the different controls and their functions by selecting whatever from the drop down menu. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/redface.gif]

Also, in "Teh selectOr" some of the flag descriptions are more than one line, and get cut off.

How in the hell does the Verify function work?

One question...does it have a built in syntax checker?

Teh Select0r looks very useful.
2003-01-04, 3:19 PM #7
Verify function works as follows:

1) Select the verb you want to verify. ONLY the verb, no spaces or any of the syntax/args.

2) Either click on Tools > Veryfiy, or hit Ctrl+X.

3) The results are printed into the statusbar.

BTW, I think Ive figured out file drag&drop, so the next beta (or release, depending on how much time I can devote to this) should include file drag & drop.

No, no syntax checker yet. Im not that good. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/tongue.gif] If and when I implement syntax checking, alot of other things will go along with it, like autocomplete, and maybe even VB style section-hopping.

Ok, the file drag & drop code is complete, and it works like a charm. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif] As soon as I clean up a few GUI factors, and finish the 'Add verb' dialog, I can release this puppy.

...Unless anyone would care to suggest any more feasible features? [http://forums.massassi.net/html/tongue.gif]

Well sure, if someone would just mind explaining to me how to open multiple instances of the same form at one time.

Take a look at some example programs. (surely some came with your VB6)

Something about Child-Parent forms. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif]

The file has been updated. New version has option saving, *working* preset function, and a few bug fixes. It will also handle multiple drag&dropped files, by spawning more instances of the program. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif]
