What are you trying to do?

#1, you MUST specify the cog's filename when launching Parsec. This is done via the command line as an arg. IE, if Parsec were located in the root, along with the cog, the command would be "C:\>Parsec c:\somecog.cog".

#2, You MUST pass an 8.2 filepath, as Parsec cant handle Win32 long filenames.

I don't know what any of that means! I'm using version 1.7!
I think the problem was calling custom messages (functions) in the cog the wrong way!
I'm not sure if it matters what order things are in!
Why does it seem like I'm shouting!

8.3 is the old MS-DOS way of naming files... So that means the name of the file should contain at most 8 letters/numbers/underscores followed by an extension (.cog for example) that can have at most 3 letters/numbers/underscores.

OK. Super-great. I guess it is set up ok though because I just drag my cogs to the shortcut to Parsec.exe and it seems to work normally. Except this cog I was checking...which now, with a few changes, doesnt create the error anyway. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif]
