How the heck can i carry info from one level to another (like wepons or if a particular object had been destroyed i have tryed (in vain) to find a answer in the tutorials and specks but theres to much to read!
it sounds coggy to me. Ad as most of you i have seen in the editing room may i as what a non convex sector is? for that matter whats a convex secoter?

You can do it in cog. If a variable isnt set to a value in the symbols section, it *should* retain its value from the previous level. (the same cog would have to be in place in bolth levels..)

And when the moment is right, I'm gonna fly a kite.

A non-convex sector a sector that isnt convex.. IE, you cant see all of the sector from any position. A sphere is convex, an L shape is not.

Createthingatpos(GBK, 0, '0 0 0', '0 0 0');

Wow, that carrying over variables idea to the next level is neato!

An easy way to tell if a sector is non-convex (besides the consistency checker) is to draw imaginary lines from each surface in a room. If the line goes through part of the sector, then it is non-convex.

ex.
Code:
  _
 |_| (<is a convex sector.)

_|_|_
_|_|_ (<shows the extended lines.)
 | |

 /\
<__> (<is a non-convex sector. See that the lines go through the sector.)

Hope that helps

cool thanks about the non convex thing, So as long as i dont reset the variable i can cary it over to the next level?
(ya see my plan is to cary some info about a destroyed ship to the next level) that way if you destroy it you dont have to fight it!

So off topic, but why is it called non convex and not concave?

It gives a feeling of negitivity, where as concave just is a status.
