Well, here it goes, I need these cogs for my upcoming rpg, if your gonna be a Jedi that is...

Need to know how to make an inventory item that will change the players saber mat or color.
I've tried many ways, but they all fail.

Why not just have the object change the saber to an entirely new 3DO. that way you would have a differant style saber and whatever color it is textured.

Well, say there's two items, and one hot key, one item selects the saber color and the other the saber handle. The hot key turns on or of the saber.

This requires heavy COGging! Way out of my hands but I can tell you how to change the saber color:

jkSetSaberInfo(thing or player, saber side, saber tip, base width (0.003), tip width (0.001), length (0.100), wall sparks, blood sparks, saber sparks (2 sabers clashing));

I've made a cog where you change saber color only you had to go into a room with switches to do it.

I don't know cog, how am I supposed to use that?Hmm? Any ways, I think thats a nice idea, A Jedi Temple level where there's mod that changes the color and handel when You enter a certain room. Oh, is it possible to make saber trails with-out a glow saber?
