My map, a raft moving back to start

I got the inspiration from SNES Super Mario Brothers. There is this level where you must stay on this raft, while it glides across lava. During this, you have to duck, jump over, and do various things around objects, while also trying to stay on the raft. Well this is what my level is like. Except, you start out in a small room. From here, you press one of 3 buttons. One is Player 1, another is Spectator, and lastly is Player 2. You see, there are 2 lava streams, and inbetween them is the spectators box. Now here is my problem. I'm going to have it so when you start, you're on a platform. You drop down onto the raft, and it starts moving. Now lets say the player doesn't make it over an obstacle in time, and misses the raft, and falls into the lava, dying. Now when he goes back to the platform, how can I get the raft to go back to it's original spot, waiting for the player to hop on. If someone could make me a cog that allows this to happen, I'd greatly appreciate it. I'm in #massassi as DBF_SuperSaiyan, and my email is nickweeks0_00@yahoo.com

What should the raft do if the player reaches the other side?

Once it gets to the end, It should pause for 2 seconds, and then respawn back at it's intial location
