I don't know how to convert a cog script into a cog file.

I download a cog but it shows a bunch of codes and I don't know what to do!

Please someone help me with that!

Thanks, Goldor.

You shouldn't have any problems creating, editing, or viewing COGs using Notepad or Wordpad. Are you sure that this "bunch of codes" that you're referring to isn't the COG language itself? Without more information, I'm unable to offer further assistance.

Yeah, A .cog file is a windows text file that you can edit with any text editor.

Okay, your going to need to:

go to the directory where the cog is (or any)

go tools\folder options\

goto the "view" tag

uncheck "Hide file extensions for known file types.

Next goto your cog, and rename it.

Remove the .txt extension from it. so it looks like this:

yourcog.cog

instead of this:

yourcog.cog.txt

A good thing to do is to always show the extension of .txt files. That way, if you want to create a new cog (or any other kind of file), use the right-click menu to create a text file, and Windows will create a text file, but let you change its extension when you give it a name.

[edit] just realized this is number 0x666. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/redface.gif] [/edit]
