Shotgun..Need help!

Yeah..Well I've trying to make a shotgun and a double barreled shotgun for a project me and a few friends are doing, anyway, how can I get a shotgun cog to work, I've uh..Borrowed some other mods with shotgun cogs in them to experiment and examine and whatever I do I can't make my shotgun work, I'm beggining to think its the templates in Static.jkl that makes the shotgun spread work, not the cog, anyone want to tell me if its the cog or template, and give me help on making that cog/template?

It's all very simple, my freind. Open up the repeater cog and where it has what it fires there are 3 things on the secondary fire. Copy that into your shotty weapon cog as what it fires and then mess up the numbers so that the projectiles are random and such. I'm not too good at explaining things and I know diddly squat about cogs, but I DID make a working shotgun using this method. I hope this helps...

That's kind of an easy way out. If you wanted, you could create a new projectile with a class cog to increase its move/collide size as it travels. When the projectile is removed, this cog can create some particles where it should have hit. I don't think you'd want to see the actual shotgun pellets, so that's not a problem.

I'm going to stick with the first suggestion, because I just got that to work. With the template, I'm going to use the same template I'm going to use with the pistol in the shotgun
