Collidetype 3, as I understand it, is face collision.

It works great and all, but not long after I apply the collidetype, the camera snaps to all-black and doesn't return untill I set it to sphere or no collision.

Why? Are there any possible workarounds?

Specific cogs need not apply - it happens every time I do it. Do a setthingcollidetype(player, 3); and just run around for a while.

It should happen sooner rather than later.

I think the camera's trying to attach to a certain surface on the player, but can't hold onto it, I tested it in a sector 10x10x5 JKU's and the camera just shifted around a lot.
